Purchased a new unit. It malfunctioned and I was sent a 4 year old refurbished unit as a replacement and now Inogen will not repurchase this unit. I am left with a unit that I cannot sell due to the manufacture date as the serial number. They just keep repeating the phrase “company policy “. Not customer care or concern.

I have been waiting since September 13 for a refund on a duplicate item purchased directly from Inogen and I have yet to received the amount owed to me. If you can get through to customer service, I get the same story that the refund is on its way. As of today, 10/25/23, I have not received my refund. I would not recommend purchasing directly from Inogen, but locate a dealer close to your location.

The Inogen is very easy to setup and get up and running. The car charging feature is great so the user doesn't have to worry about traveling long distances and running out of oxygen with a pony bottle.

The staff listened to my concerns with the interest in the product lines and what I was hoping to do with the right device(s). Staff also worked with my doctors to process the needed paperwork and get things done quickly. When the products arrived, the staff was helpful guiding me through setting up and operating the equipment.

I received a reply from giving a negative review which said to call Customer Service. Gentleman was very nice and said he would replace the machine needing "service." I needed the machine sent to me for my Alzheimer mother in AL because she is unable to do an exchange. He said take the new machine and exchange when I went to see mom and call UPS when I have the old machine. UPS would not leave machine today without an exchange. I called Customer Service, waited for an answer for 20 minutes and hung up.

I am still working and can set my backpack and Inogen on the floor right by my desk out of the way. I get up from my desk, slip the backpack on and away I go. It is so convenient and everyone comments on how much they need one. Thanks for keeping me going
