All produce was super small. I am fine with ugly produce, and I don't mind small produce. But when the box arrives with barely any food inside because it's so undersized, it hurts because their wasn't anything in there to feed my family with. I would have still given them a 4 star review because they delivered on their promise of low quality produce and the fault was mine to expect anything more. However, after cancelling the prescription, the sent me another box that was worse than the first! So now I felt not foolish, but betrayed... thankfully the second time I cancelled they stopped sending the boxes. The Best thing I got out of the purchase were the icepacks and the insulated boxes the produce comes in. Basically: It is about the same quality produce as your standard discount grocery store, just twice the price.

I really love this company

I've been ordering from Imperfect Foods for over a year... and their performance has been SEAMLESS. What I do object to is that there are MANY Imperfect Foods customers who abuse IF customer service and figure if they complain they'll get free stuff. And they do. I'm in Facebook groups with these people who openly admit they do this, and open up multiple accounts in order to get promotional "first time" offers...even openly sharing the coupon codes. The admin(s) apparently have no problem with this dishonesty. So: Imperfect Foods = wonderful. Many of their customers = LCD people who should be ashamed of themselves.

I've been ordering Imperfect Foods for a little more than a year, and I love it so much! I've never had a bad experience, and in the rare case of a missing item their customer care team has been quick to correct the issue. I love the wide variety of groceries available, and some of the Imperfect branded items are my favorite to order! I highly recommend the body butter, orange juice, and snacky snack mixy mix. I also love that I've been able to try new things that I've never tried before like Mi Rancho tortillas, Daring plant-based chicken, and Bonne Maman jams. The convenience of having my favorite groceries delivered right to my door can't be overstated, and I'm so pleased with my subscription I make sure to recommend it to everyone I know!

Will never order again could have gone to store and got better produce for cheaper. Won't let me post photos but I have them of half rotten broccoli and celery cherry tomatoes with rotten ones mixed in the potatoes have mold on them. To make it worse got bacon and sausage they out a normal ice pack to keep it cold it had completely melted and meat was warm 🥵 wasted 40 bucks on trash.

Don't use this service if you want your food fresh and on time. My family has used Imperfect Foods for a year or two. Loved it at first, got to eat some great-tasting food that I would not otherwise be able to get in my town. However, the deliveries have been awful. There are countless times that we get our food smashed or late or not at all. We have reached out to Imperfect Foods about this on multiple occasions. They provide a refund but it doesn't help because I still have to go to the grocery store and pick up what they refunded me for, so it's pointless. I'm not sure if the Imperfect Foods delivery service is any better but FedEx Ground doesn't give a rip. We have complained and complained and they are either unwilling or unable to make it better. I can't use this service anymore, it's pointless. I agree with the mission statement and I love the idea of using the food that is going to be tossed away wastefully.. But the service just doesn't meet the expectation. DO BETTER!

It would be better if they re-collected the GEL PACKS that they put in every box, and reused them. It’s really wasteful to use ONE TO THREE GEL PACKS in EVERY SINGLE BOX. They just tell you to drop it off yourself at one of few participating centers, and who knows what happens to it from there. They should collect the gel packs themselves and reuse them! This company does not seem to serve any purpose for the environment. If anything it seems harmful due to the use of gel packs. Even the “drain safe” ones are a production of chemicals in a plastic bag. How hard would it be for them to recollect them? Their intentions seem really questionable.

Do not use this company. I only set up an account in advance of a cross-country move, but had not yet ordered. I was planning on ordering when I got settled in our new home. I have received charges to my account twice on items I never ordered and confirmations of delivery at an address I am not yet at. Buyer beware.
