Tavonia was so helpful when I reached about an issue that I had with my purchase. She really came through for me, and that made me like the Ilia brand so much better. Thank you Ilia and Tavonia!

Where is my order? I am furious. I placed an order a week ago and though the website says 2-3 business days, it's been 7 days (5 business days days) and I still have not received confirmation that it has been sent. I thought it was a scam and after sending emails to customer support, which I've received three automated responses from, but still no answer to my question, I am still unsure if it's a scam. On top of this I signed up to VIP membership and have received 7 emails since urging me to buy things or try things, when I still have not received the products I've bought that you may or may not have shipped, but you've definitely taken payment for. I am extremely disappointed by this customer experience from a brand I assumed to be fairly high quality. This really is extremely below the base level of customer experiences in 2025. Amazon shops turn around their shipments and responses faster.

We’re so sorry for the frustrating experience you’ve had with your order. This is absolutely not the level of communication or service we want to provide. After looking into this, we discovered that your item was placed on backorder due to a SKU going out of stock, but we weren’t notified right away, which is why you didn’t receive the clear updates you should have. We’re reaching out to you directly via email now to resolve this and make sure you receive your order as quickly as possible. We also sincerely regret the lack of timely replies to your support messages, as well as the added frustration of receiving promotional emails while waiting for your order. That’s not how we want any customer to feel. Thank you for bringing this to our attention— we take your feedback seriously and are working to improve our communication and order notification processes. We truly value your patience, and we’re committed to making this right for you.

I had a small issue with one of my beloved products and they sent me a new one, without any issue. They trusted I was a loyal customer and they stand behind the quality of their work. I love every product of theirs I’ve ever tried and cannot wait to try more ❤️❤️❤️

Updated review. Great product. We had a big snafu with customer service but they ultimately resolved it.

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience. We're glad you're happy with the product, but you absolutely deserved better communication from us. We investigated your emails from September 14, 17, and 24 and discovered that your ticket was closed without a response when it shouldn't have been. We've since resolved the issue to prevent it in the future and responded to your inquiry. We take full responsibility and understand this doesn't make up for the time you spent waiting. This isn't reflective of the service we strive to provide. If there's anything else we can do to make this right, please don't hesitate to reach out directly, and we'll ensure you're taken care of immediately. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address this.

I had a wonderful experience with Tavonia from the customer service team. The Before Dawn product wasn’t quite what I’d expected and Tavonia was kind and incredibly helpful in all communication, and she provided mutiple (and very generous) options to resolve the issue. It’s also the fastest response I have ever received from any customer service!
