RUN.... DO NOT GET SUCKED IN!!! Over a year ago I was talked into purchasing a 5 day/4 night stay and I specifically asked if it had an expiration date. I was told it never expired and I could use it any time I wanted. Life got in the way as well as military deployments and so on. Almost a year later I received an email stating it was going to expire. I called and told them to go back and listen to the recording they claimed would happen during the sales call and they would hear what I was told. They chose to extend the stay 6 months. I received another email stating it again was going to expire so I called again and requested a full refund since they lied to me and the representative said it is not refundable but I would have to email the customer service address. I received no response to the email so again called to request a full refund and they hung up the phone on me. This is a dishonest organization and will tell you whatever they have to to get you committed. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU AND DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR INFORMATION!!!

I am a timeshare owner through holiday inn club vacations. I am trying to get out of my contract. I am also just trying to spread awareness to hopefully stop others from making the same mistake I did. DO NOT BUY A TIMESHARE EVER! It is a waste of money and the exit is more painful than getting your nose hairs pulled out. All the promises they make are lies. They tell you how easy and useful the timeshare points are to use and they are not, there are so many limitations and time restrictions that it is impossible to get out of the points what you are paying in. You are much better off setting up auto deductions from your pay into a savings account for vacations. Don't make the mistake I did and please talk openly with friend and coworkers and family. The only reason they still are able to sell timeshares is because though they have a vaguely negative reputation, the details and facts are not everyday knowledge. Those of us who know need to stop being embarrassed and tell others about our mistake and hope are stories travel far and wide. Contact HICVlies at gmail if you have had a negative high pressure sales experience with HICV within the last 3 years, Are a current owner who was dooped into buying like me, or if you successfully exited your timeshare. I am trying to build a database of proof against HICV.

It is rare that you can book dates and times you want. They limit the time frame when you reserve resorts, and they are constantly booked. We were lied to about selling the unit if not satisfied. Once you buy, you are stuck with it as there is no way to sell your time share and no one wants it. If you die, they will come after your children and family to keep paying their fees. The agents keep trying to upgrade you, telling you that selling your current plan cannot be done unless you upgrade - this is a lie, too. If you have medical problems in your family and can no longer travel, Holiday Inn is unsympathetic and will not consider buying it back. DO NOT buy this timeshare.

⚠ WARNING WARNING WARNING ⚠ Holiday Inn Express Krabi Nang - (Ao Nang Beach, Thailand) Our money was stolen from the locked safe at the hotel! Because of the rains, serious leaks started in all the rooms and we had to change rooms. While we were on a day trip, the hotel staff packed our things without our permission and moved us to another room. When we returned from the trip, they brought us a key to a new room. Confused, we went to the new room and saw that all our things were there except for the things that were in the safe. We immediately went to check the safe in the previous room but our code did not work, the reception staff came and opened the safe with a master code (very simple), we found out that the contents of the safe were there except for the dollars. We filed a complaint with the police but the hotel staff accused us of lying/lost. In addition, the hotel is not properly maintained. We moved three rooms due to the leaks. We left very disappointed and without any compensation/attempt for help. Recommend to stay away from this hotel!

Say no and end your call! If they say you can get a refund it's a lie!

My name is Brenda Abrom. I am a Signature member of the Holiday Inn Vacation Club. I was not treated as a valued member. HIVC should be ashamed of how I was treated. Not by the staff, but by the Club's politics. I have paid thousands of dollars to them but when there was a problem, no one had the authority to help. I wonder why is that. They have soooo much authority when it comes to taking your money but not when the shoe is on the other foot. I used to brag about how great HIBC was but, now I will discourage anyone who ask and those who don't. Shame on you Holiday Inn Vacation Club. As a consumer, I advise you to look elsewhere for a Vacation Club that will treat their members better and appreciate their hard earned money. Every chance I get I intend leaving poor reviews.

Avoid at all cost. I purchased a 2 night pkg for their Tahoe Ridge and when I made reservations, they shifted me to a casino. When I called to cancel, they all of a sudden could give me a room at The Ridge. I refused and let the pkg expire. A total waist of money.

I got the $99 vacation special but when I rented the room for Labor Day weekend they told me it was going to be another 159 so a total of 259 for Labor Day four days three nights pretty good deal Smoky Mountens Tennessee is where I stayed at it was a beautiful view they put me on the 10th floor when I checked in there was an older gentleman at the front desk he was very nice helpful and knowledgeable about the area made me checking in very Easy process appreciate! But the alarm went off because I guess somebody was smoking in the Villa whatever the case may be you do not have to worry about this building catching fire and you not having time to get out that smoke alarm would wake anybody up and then it did it again about 30 minutes later but it’s good to know for safety measures they are ready I was there to do a timeshare so I went Sunday morning for the meeting Chase was my Guide he was A great person with a great personality you got you guys a winner there had Had I been in a better financial situation I definitely would’ve bought we had a great time and we would love to come back I’d stay away from the gift lady she was very rude not helpful at all but overall even with the electric going out for one hour you guys gave us glow sticks 😜 which worked very well things happen when you’re in the mountains we do understand that It was a beautiful villa with a beautiful view if you have patience to deal with the congestion in the area it’s definitely a place to check out
