My experience with Holiday Inn Vacation Club has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I’ve been a timeshare owner for several years, but due to my husband’s and my demanding work schedule as truck drivers, we are only able to travel approximately five weeks a year. Despite this limited time, availability during these periods is almost impossible, making the timeshare essentially useless for us. The rising fees have added to the financial strain, but what’s even worse is that despite making payments for years, we’ve barely made any progress on reducing the principal amount. It feels like an endless cycle that has become a significant financial burden. We’ve tried reaching out for assistance, but unfortunately, no one has been helpful in resolving this situation. We are extremely disheartened by this experience and urgently request cancellation of our membership. I wouldn’t recommend committing to a timeshare with Holiday Inn Vacation Club, especially if you have a demanding schedule or expect transparent and fair assistance from their team.

I regret my experience with the Holiday Inn timeshare. The restructured point system was incredibly frustrating and confusing, making it difficult to understand the benefits we were supposed to receive. It felt like they were always pressuring us to "buy up" to the next tier, which was off-putting. Using the RCI portion was disappointing—finding an available date was almost impossible due to excessive restrictions. On top of that, I was shocked by the endless fees for everything, including converting to IHG points, reserving, changing reservations, and more. To make matters worse, the property itself was poorly maintained. During one stay, the door lock was broken, and the faucet on the tub came off when I tried to use it. It was far from the standard I expected. Overall, I cannot recommend this timeshare. It’s overly complicated, costly, and does not deliver the value or convenience it promises.

When making my reservation the customer service analyst I was told we could add additional guest at 20-30 dollars per night. However, the total to add guest came to 830 dollars. I wanted to cancel my reservation as they said I could and now I am being told no and that 20-30 was a starting rate. The guy I spoke with would not let me share my concern with the next level up to make sure this doesn't happen to someone else and he would not allow that. I will never use them again and believe it is a huge scam! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The properties are beautiful when I book independently. Since becoming an owner I have not been able to book at desired locations or benefit from points. Stayed holding for over 20 minutes and my husband held for 9 minutes. No answer just hold music the entire time with the recording kept repeating itself.

This experience has been challenging. The initial sales approach can feel unclear, leading to commitments that remain complex even after loans are paid. Unexpected fee increases have also added pressure over time. I recommend carefully reviewing your options, as other companies may better suit your needs.

I hope people can see this and decide to not do business with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. This was the worst contract I ever signed. Do not believe what they tell you during the sales pitch. They will never let you go, and the fees increase over and over.

Holiday Inn makes it impossible to leave. Their contracts are endless. It’s frustrating to feel trapped and ignored when asking for fairness. Your time and money deserve better. Based on my experience, I don’t recommend them. Look elsewhere.

The sales process? A total freaking mess- confusing, disorganized and completely lacking any transparency. I thought things would get better once I paid off my loans- but no-all these fees started piling up. It felt like I was being squeezed and not someone cared about. If you are considering going down this road-please don't. This was a nightmare!
