Hireright is a terrible company that discriminates against people. I had a job lined up for a very specific and specialized position. This company put the posting out in 31 metros across the East Coast and I was selected. I have a medical marijuana card and they made me feel like I was a criminal drug addict unworthy of what I had been doing for about 12 years and have been doing it well. The phone call I had to take from their brownshirt drug testers, Abbot Drug testing was embarrassing and insulting. They neglected my medical card and were very rude and short with me. This company is a company stuck in the past that openly discriminates against people who have medical marijuana cards and use it for legit reasons. Even if it isn't medical, who cares? It is less harmful than alcohol which these hypocritical companies and background companies pass out at their holiday parties and get boozed up at conferences. HireRight believes in hypocrisy and discrimination. They are a trashy and thuggish company.

extremely unprofessional and subpar service. the way they do background check is basically telling you to upload everything yourself, and they mess up the uploads and blame the fault on you. i'm very surprised that this company has not been sued or gone bankrupt.

Countless times for countless jobs, yes, multiple, i have experienced their utter incompetence. if you are HR do not use this company. there are better options. they are unbelievably incompetent. Experiencing it now for the second time and second job in a 4 week period same issues and now they are giving me even more. it's unreal.

0 stars more like it. Worst experience while waiting to start My new job. Horrible customer service. Inadequate information. Provided them with a w2 from 2021 for a job I had from 2016-2022 and they said I only worked there from 2016-2017! They also were checking the wrong state for my education for over a week even after I contacted them to advise the correct state. So disappointed with this whole experience
