I was hired as a RN in a hospital. Heading on week 2 and they keep sending me the same email over and over again. I don't know where they are getting start dates and end dates. They are saying I worked at a hospital in 2008 and I wasn't even in that state. I have been doing their jobs for them. I have never had such a horrible experience in my entire life. I have had several back grounds done and never took more then 5 business days. I reported this to HR at where I got hired and told them to do their own background check. They are going to cost me my new job! I am so unhappy with their services. I noticed that everyone gave them bad reviews! You would think with all their horrible reviews that they would make better improvements. This company is scary!

Honestly, this has to be the worst place possible for a background check. I applied for a company did my driving test was offered the position. I accept the position then found out through email hire right was finishing the process. Did my drug screen days ago. Here we are 4 days later and the stupid place still calls and e-mails me daily about past employers. How is that my job doing there job? Like seriously this company charges clients for their services!!?? They provide absolutely no service not when they can’t even use google? Sadly I had to put down 1 star because zero wasn’t available. Any company that uses hire right just needs to go back to normal. Hire the candidate based on the experience and qualifications. Not some pencil pusher in another state. If hire right can’t even accomplish a verification without your help what’s the point. Gave up on the job I was offered due to the incompetence from this hole called hire right. Sadly I was looking forward to working where I was officially hired at. But these dummies made the entire process frustrating. Complete waste of time. Do not use this worthless company. It’s nothing but a scam

Just terrible overall. Conducting a background check for my new employer. Need clarification for absolutely everything and takes them ages to do anything. Common sense does not appear to apply in their work. Keeps on getting worse, non sensical replies from their CS, no empathy. Starting a new job should be an exciting experience, not stress induced by an awful company that can't do their job correctly.

Worst. Background check? I don’t know why they can’t verify my employment history when it’s clearly on the IRS. I’m so surprised , this is the only background check that absolutely don’t know anything. If I don’t get the job or even start because they can’t verify my employment even though it’s in my IRS records, that is no longer my problem as it’s their job to do background check and it’s not my job to give them all the documents necessary to do the background for them. Either this company doesn’t have the ability to do background check that’s why they are asking the employees to provide documents for them.

Horrendous company, I have had my start date put back yet again waiting for background checks to be completed. I have also had to get most of the info for them and still they keep sending me the same email after email.

If I could give zero stars, i would. They are absolutely awful. Imagine putting in 40+ hours to nail that job you're excited about, you aced the interviews, they love you, they give you an offer, you accept...Hireright is doing your background check. That excitement vanishes. Inept doesn't even do them justice, they are profoundly the worst background check company out there. I never had an issue with background checks until Hireright found its way into my life.

Do your future employees a favor and choose another company the amount of time this company takes to do a background check is beyond ridiculous! This company is not only wasting the employee time and ability to start a job but a company's ability to get a position filled

They simply are unable to perform timely background checks. They make promises they can't keep.
