As a practitioner Headway is easy to use and responsive to my needs. They are continually updating the site and offering training on a number of practical and clinical topics. I find there support team is better and better every time I need them and responsive within a day which is a huge improvement.

In my career, I have worked in operations at practices where I dealt with billing and credentialing issues daily. Then, when I went into my own private practice, I was fairly confident I could take on my own billing. After trying this for a year, I gave Headway a chance - and it has been SUCH a stress relief! Having the ability to send clients directly to the portal for benefit authorization is honestly one of my favorite parts. Authorizing benefits is such a headache! I have found them to always be responsive and helpful when I do contact with a question or concern. As always with innovative business', there are a few improvements that could still be had. But I find they are ALWAYS growing, adding, and improving which I appreciate. And insurance is just such a headache, its nice to have a company fighting that battle so I don't have too. Finally, the vast majority of my client's have also enjoyed their experience with Headway.

I started my private practice a year ago and found Headway to be one of the simplest platforms to navigate. Headway negotiated higher reimbursement rates than I could do on my own. You are reimbursed on the 1st and 15th of the month via direct deposit. Entering SOAP notes is easy and Headway provides templates for providers if needed. Headway does not have a monthly charge which helps small private practices like mine to operate. The items they need to improve upon are providing more referrals and their own HIPPA compliant video platform.

I have been with Headway for over 2 years. Being able to be credentialed with 4 insurance companies and not have to deal with billing is the only way I could have pushed through the anxiety I had in establishing my own private practice. I have had very few issues and it costs me nothing! There has been a lot of expansion with notes and treatment plans which I don’t use because I have Simple Practice but it’s become a one stop shop for newer therapists! Hands down the best decision I have made in my career!

I have had nothing but great experiences with Headway. Insurance verification has been a breeze, and billing has not been an issue. I love being hands-free when it comes to that. Whenever I have issues, they respond quickly, and my clients have never complained.
