I made a appointment to see a therapist, so on my first appointment, I was waiting to join the link, and she never came on. And a few minutes later she cancelled my appointment, and I was unsure why, so I rescheduled with her again. She then cancelled the appointment again. The next day, I noticed she charged me a 75 fee, for a no show. I then reached out to her, to find out why, she stated I never joined the link. Which was a lie, and mind you it was our first appointment. So you wld think she wld reach out too me, if I “wasnt” online. The therpist and Headway refused to give me back my fee, I had to reach out to my bank to dispute the charge and they found it in my favor because I cld prove i was online. So be aware of Headway.

The platform is easy to use. Scheduling and claim submission is straightforward. Reimbursement is reliable. Communication from Headway is regular, particularly when it's important.

I learned a lot of good practical ideas

The company itself is great but my issue is with the inability to leave reviews on clinicians and or providers. I was working with a therapist through headway for a while and it was the most traumatic, unethical and degrading experience I’ve ever had. You’re allowing a therapist to operate through your site who has more than breached the guidelines and ethics of mental health providers. I find it off putting that I cannot leave a review protecting other vulnerable clients from falling under the unsafe care of her.
