I recently received an email from Headway that they plan to charge me almost $500 for what seems to be an insurance error on their end. I am not legally liable for their mistakes and will be disputing any unauthorized charges to my credit card -- especially such a high, one-time charge for a difference btwn their submitted charges (the vast majority of which do not go to my therapist) and my plan allowance, that I was never told about by Headway. My advice: do not give Headway your credit card information. I tried to go into Headway today to delete my credit card info from my profile and there's no way to do that. So, unless I freeze my credit card, I may have to eat $500 of unauthorized charges. This entire situation feels like a money-grab/scam.

I like using Headway for its ease of use for clients and therapists, for their taking care of billing and collections, and for the higher rate they often get. My only complaint (repeatedly reported with no resolution) is that auto-correction does not work in progress notes and a few other areas when it is most needed. Errors are pointed out (good) but spell check does not work (bad).

21 sessions billed and then insurance suddenly isn't accepted, then i'm told it is, bill again, and told it isn't. Your platform is horrible and has been for 5 years - I should never have given it a second chance. The only thing you did right was admit you handled the whole situation poorly - however that doesn't help me or my client
