This rinky-dink, smoke & mirrors operation is not a legitimate & professional gift company and accepts no accountability--RUN AWAY. I ordered a $100+ "Gourmet Wine & Cheese Basket" with a fresh plant and fresh bakery goods. They literally just threw everything together into an oversized shipping box with no wrapping/ or protection. The fresh bakery item arrived unsealed, broken in pieces and covered with DIRT -- yes, SOIL -- from the loose/unwrapped plant. The unsealed plant was completely out of it's pot; so everything was covered in dirt and moisture had even made its way into packaged cheese boxes. The ~$9 bottle of wine, tiny cheese board and a jar of olives survived, but were also covered in & stained from the moist soil, Those 3 items ended up costing me $49 -- since they said 2-day shipping was inadequate for "perishable" items, so they would only refund me half of the cost of the plant. Reading other reviews, they clearly don't have a professional packing/shipping operation and consistently and liberally interpret their terms of service, in which they guarantee nothing -- they even have the right to substitute anything they want in place of what you ordered. Worst experience EVER.

Don't expect anything to be delivered, it won't be, but they'll tell you it was and give you the run around. Don't expect proper communication from them either, you have to do all the chasing. Charge back filed.

Sad to see I have the same story to share as many others! Ordered a Father’s Day basket with false advertising of “2 business day shipping”. I ordered craft beer with two added items. My order was nowhere in transit or to be found and then said it would deliver June 28.. 11 days after order was placed. I contacted them they sent me to contact courier. Then I check with UPS to see it was THEIR fault because they left out unit number which they acknowledged but offered ZERO discount, acknowledgement, etc. my order arrived 20 days later. It was a box with no beer that looked bare for mustard and sausage. The card was a SNOWFLAKE card in the middle of JUNE with a message, addressing my father by his first name for a Father’s Day gift without my gift message. I followed up multiple times. They took zero accountability and told me I didn’t select the beer. The beer was on my invoice. Then they told me the $17.99 was shipping not beer because it was never added. So you get an invoice that says beer but the system allows you to place the order without contacting or redirecting you back to make a selection?? Terrible terrible terrible. I paid $69.99 for a snowflake Father’s Day card addressed to my father by first name, 20 days shipping, 0 accountability, and no personalization what so ever. Will dispute on my card.

This does not even rated as 1 star. Beware of the company that has this statement in their policy. There are a lot of them operates this bad practice. These companies are scammers. They also add their own fake reviews to make customers believe. "Substitution Policy For a variety of reasons, we will occasionally run out of a specific item. While this situation does not occur often, we reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value in our product." They will not notify you of the changes. I actually did not order from their site, I just search for my favorite lotion which is $25.00 when I click, it sends me to this site. I ordered 4 and what I got, lotion made in china by their company GIFT GROUP, smells bad and the snacks that they replaced, ALL EXPIRED.

Unbelievable that this scam company is able to survive. Shipped something wrong, accepted my $500 and refused to engage when the delivery became an unmitigated disaster. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I wish I had seen all the horrible reviews instead of believing the reviews they post on their own site. Ruined my wedding gift and also possibly my faith in humanity. I cannot believe this is still happening after years of these unacceptable experiences I’m reading about with other customers. Whoever runs this company is a sociopath.

This is the most disappointing online purchase I have ever made. Thank god I only wasted $116 on this trash company. I now see online via independent review sites that they’ve scammed hundreds of people before me and that I shouldn’t expect a refund. Shame on me for falling for this scam. It is clear their business model is to sell garbage to people, (if it ever even arrives), and blame everyone but themselves for their shady business practices. I’m going to do everything I can to post and file fraud reports how horrible Hazeltons is. Clearly hundreds of people before me have done the same but hopefully I can save at least one person trying to do something kind for a loved one the major disappointment caused by this fraudulent company. I hope you Hazeltons gets shut down soon!

I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. This website is such a scam. I ordered the "Time To Toast Kosher Gift Basket" as a congratulatory present for my friends across the country on their engagement on 5/24/2022. The cheapest shipping was $18 for 2 day shipping and so it should have arrived by that Friday at the latest, which the shipping estimate had. Well Saturday morning it shows up all that arrived were two small bags of pretzel sticks (seasoned and plain) and not the variety of yogurt covered pretzels pictured. No champagne at all, nor the serving platter it said it should have come with. It was truly an embarrassment! I waited a few more days but still, the champagne had not arrived. At this point, I went to the website and used the live chat to speak with someone about this. They short and rude with me. They told me the alcohol ships separately and would arrive soon, despite the shipping information was still showing that the label was created and nothing had changed in a week. Nothing on the website indicates that alcohol would ship separately either. I tried to write a review for the product on their website saying that what was pictured did not arrive and the champagne never made it but nothing posts whenever I attempt to leave a review. I waited another week and nothing was still changed on the shipment tracking so I messaged them again. This time Olivia was the CSR and she was horrible. Instead of answering questions, she only repeated "Please await your order" and finally closed out of the chat. I was shook. Thank goodness my bank was able to give me my money back but I am making sure that everyone knows they need to stay away from this company!!!!

Do NOT order from this company. It’s a complete scam. I ordered the “Heavenly Organic Dried Fruit & Nuts Tray.” My basket did not come with any dried fruits at all! It was nothing like the way it looks in the picture, and nothing like the way it was described. My gift basket was only 11 very tiny packages of sea salt cashews (2.8 ounce each). That’s it. So, not only was it nothing but nuts -- it was only one kind of nut. This gift basket is a complete joke. The website description says it is a “wonderful variety of fruits and nuts" and that it's supposed to have "Cashew Crunch, dried papaya, dried banana, dried mango, dried apricot, pistachios and dried prunes.” I posted pictures on Google map reviews for Hazelton's gift baskets, if you want to see. They also charged me for two baskets instead of one. I had accidentally made two orders. After realizing my mistake, I asked their customer service to cancel the mistaken 2nd order. Instead of cancelling it, the employee was extremely rude and said “You placed two orders during Christmas, and now you will deal with the consequences of placing two orders during Christmas. I will not be answering another one of your e-mails. Enjoy the spam folder.” They did not want to refund my money. I had to get my money back through paypal, and I won my case. So in the end, Hazelton’s greed made them lose everything because I got all my money back and still got to keep both baskets. I also ordered a Panda bear plush, which was supposed come with this gift basket. There was no bear or stuffed animal of any kind. I checked out all the online reviews for this Hazelton’s company and saw thousands of people complaining about the same thing. It’s a complete scam/fraud. They were also supposed to send a complimentary greeting card. What they sent was a regular page of printer paper, with a tiny message printed in small 12-point font, saying “Dear [recipient's name], Merry Christmas and a magical new year! From, [recipient's name].” It said that the order is from the person getting the gift, instead of the person who actually sent the gift.
