The Yuma, AZ, store is absolutely the WORST Harbor Freight store I have ever been to. (1) There were only 2 cashiers on one occasion, with 12- 13 customers standing in line at each register! Meanwhile, Lea and Austin ( the manager) nonchalantly walked around in the store, doing nothing productive. (2) The manager refused to honor an emailed coupon I had received on an expensive item I had just purchased at this very store 6 days earlier. (The El Centro, CA, store had just told me by phone earlier in the day that it's the company's policy to honor the lower price, given that I had very recently purchased the item. Well, Austin and Lea both berated me at the register in front of everyone else in line, and loudly proclaimed that the El Centro store FREQUENTLY violates company policy! I walked out of the Yuma store, got into my car, and called El Centro's store. After I explained what had just happened, the wonderful employee at El Centro took care of making sure I received the discounted coupon price. This IS company policy, unlike the rude and dishonest comments from the Yuma store's management. WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YUMA'S STORE AGAIN. (This was not the first time I'd experienced the Yuma store's awful treatment. I've been to Harbor Freight stores all over, in my travels. NONE ARE LIKE YUMA'S!)

I called 6 times phone rang and rang then answer hung up called customer service they couldn't get thru service stinks

Just awful. My home was badly damaged in hurricane Ian. I went to harbor freight and bought a generator. I made sure that it was turnkey out of the box and that it had wheels so my elderly mother could move it. I got it home and it had no wheels and needed $50.00 worth of extras to work. I returned it the next day and was treated like a criminal. Like I was taking advantage of them now that the storm was over. I've never been so insulted at a place of business. Then they charged me a $100.00 restocking fee! After 4 phone calls and several weeks, still no word from their management. Thanks for taking advantage of me and my family in our hour of need! I will never go back.

BS ... WITH OR WITHOUT RECEIPT

They are scam artists. They dropped my tool chest off the truck. It was badly damaged. It took 5 calls for a refund. The first 4 calls I was getting a full refund then the fifth call I was told I still had to pay $96.00 shipping! It was the shipper who damaged it! These guys take advantage of this disabled veteran sienor citizen. They should be held accountable for fraud.

Bought a $59 tarp. I can't find receipt and email they can't find it in register so what they know I bought it there I've been going there 2 years they change clerks daily literally as well as managers and so I have to pay the consequence because nobody knows me yet in their register it shows all my purchases hundreds of purchases but no one gives a crap the top is a piece of crap it fell apart after 1 month on the roof totally dry brought it real real crap and I wanted my money back and they won't do it their tools are crappy and cheap not all but most you get what you pay for nowadays everything is way over priced so the whole system sucks I won't go there anymore and customer service doesn't answer the phone I waited 20 minutes on hold every time you call it's 20 minutes on hold or longer they suck

I bought a gas pump from harbor freight and when i tried to use it the hose was squirting the gas all over my garage and i immediately put it away for an exchange or return and get a better one Unfortunately when i went to harbor freight on 10/19 @ 5pm located in aurora, IL the manager refused to exchange nor to return the pump and he did not want to deal with my issue and I felt like he just wanted to get rid of me probably because of my accent or my origin but i really had a bad experience with the cashier and the manager of the store Again this is defected item, why will I deal with third party vendor to exchange it and why harbor freight does not take care of his customer as the rest of other hardware stores Be aware, please go to a store who does appreciate your business because I promise i will never give harbor freight a dime again

Bought a small generator that horrendously failed to generate as advertised. Harbor Freight charged me a 15% restocking fee when I returned it. Now we are going to court and they have an attorney general complaint and a 93A claim. Cheap generator does not perform as said.
