I went in to purchase a hammer drill that was advertised. I wanted to make sure I was getting the correct item , so I asked a nearby employee. Then I asked to be shown where hammer drill bits were and the employee told me that I was not purchasing a hammer drill even though it said hammer drill right on the box, and then proceeded to act like he knew more. I bought the drill anyway and bought drill bits online. Pretty sad customer service.

Bought the Bauer corded jigsaw. Blades would not seat. Returned it. Pulled another of the shelf. Same problem. Obvious design flaw. Got a refund. Then purchased a WEN jigsaw online from Home Depot. Same price range. Actually a few dollars cheaper, and everything worked fine. 3 stars instead of one because refund was hassle free.

Price was really good, however shipping took longer than we expected.

I think the company has great tools and everything but when I ordered something from these guys it's hard to track it and today I'm at home waiting for this to be delivered but it's saying it's still in South Carolina so I will not order from this company again because I like to track my order

I like harbor freight tools. It is a great place to shop when you need an otherwise inexpensive tool that you're only going to use once or twice. The only reason I decided to leave this review was because I saw their commercial and in it they continuously claim that they have high quality high performance tools. No, no they are not! Most of them are cheap crap, they have low prices though. If you're looking for a high quality tool that will last you a long time don't go to harbor freight tools. If you're looking for a tool or two to get you through a job or two then harbor freight is your store.

This review is strictly for online and phone ordering. My in store experiences have been grand. Two weeks ago I ordered by phone a replacement shed cover that was destroyed in a recent windstorm. I was told a 7-10day delivery. I've received no txt or email updates. Today I contacted by phone HFT to be informed the item was on backorder. I have now missed the opportunity to take advantage of special Holiday pricing from other stores, including HFT's own daily txt sales. I strongly recommend forgoing HFT online or phone purchases to avoid severe disappointment. Update: 5/7/23 I finally received my replacement shed cover 5wks ago. It took 5 months. No notice, just showed up. I increased my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I have no complaints overall with the customer service staff at HFT. In fact they have always been pleasant and helpful. My issue is with their communications and notifications systems, If it weren't for the on-phone customer service people, I would rate it below 1

Yea I bought the hvlp replacement spray gun for $99 and bought the two year warranty so from my experience the gun is pretty good but did break and I’ve been tryin to return it for the past 3 weeks and nothin. So point is don’t pay the extra money $50 extended warranty because it’s useless. Just a waste of money cuz they never have a replacement like they said so that’s why they get 3 stars.

The people working at Harbor Freight get 5 stars, but to be told you can’t get a coupon and then be told if you return an item even new in the box there will be a 20% restocking fee is bad for customer retention. At Lowe’s the same gallon oil-less air compressor was $30 less, we bought from you because you have kind employees. They explained bad people are using their purchases like a rental ( this is wrong!)
