Back in January 2020 I decided to brave the project of siding my house. It was a huge expense (for me) but Chris Pfaff did a great job working out a great deal for me. Then COVID-19 came to visit us all and put my project on hold. I assumed that I wouldn't hear anything until the EO was lifted. Let me tell you about the best phone call I have ever received. Her name is Marilyn Weitz and she called to let me know they had my siding and were ready to schedule the installation. I was so excited and took the first date I could get. During the process there were some things didn't go and look as I expected. Thankfully I kept Marilyn's phone number and called her. She took immediate action and resolved my issues above and beyond what anyone would expect, and that's saying a lot for someone that also works in customer service and takes it very seriously. She went above and beyond what I would have expected but also kept the company's bottom line in mind. Hanson's, you have a keeper in Marilyn and I hope that you realize that and treat her very well! I feel as though I have a new friend and I'm so lucky. Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication, Marilyn! Christopher B.

Any of you folks that would like to…
Any of you folks that would like to join in a class action or group law suit please contact me. I'm in the same boat as all of you and I'm done. This is the WORST company I have ever done business with. Huge drafts, locked out of my house again today by my worthless doorwall. Install of 26 windows April 2020 and problems since the first DAY!

Hanson's is nothing more than a fast talking overpriced lying company who never answers their phone, they are the worst company i have ever dealt with, do yourself a favor, steer clear of them, all they want you to do is sign on the dotted line and they will say ANYTHING to get you to do it!

Sales Pitch is a Joke
Didn't even make it through the Sales Pitch without getting the overwhelming feeling of wanting to throw up. Really? Your quote for a basic roofing job was DOUBLE the price that everybody else offered! Get over yourselves! Bunch of greedy crooks! Do NOT work with these guys. Their sales pitch lasts forever and they shoot down everything that you want if it doesn't match the agenda that they want to sell you before the meeting. What a joke!

Hanson's is a company that has poor customer service and even worse workmanship!
I had my new roof installed in May of 2019 and the results have been awful. They came, they saw and they caused a World of headaches for me. They destroyed my gutter guards, left roofing debris everywhere including nails and did not install the chimney flashing correctly resulting in water damage. Hanson's wants me to turn over the interior water damage to my insurance company. For anyone considering using Hanson's, I will only say "Caveat Emptor!" All of these negative reviews are statistically relevant. Any business will not make everyone happy and with this many negative reviews, there are problems.

What a scam
What a scam. My 75 year old father had a bad leak in his house and didn’t want to bother us and so he took it upon himself to call Hanson’s. They came out and quoted him $10,000 for only the center portion of his tiny roof.. not the front porch or the backside of the house- because he couldn’t afford any more. Mind you, his house is SMALL (822 square feet in total). They gave him a salesman pitch on who their contractors are and the materials they use.. and that it’s guaranteed for life. He signed the contract and put $2000 down. Thank god I talked to him the night before he could cancel this contract. Because not only would the roof not be guaranteed for life considering they were only doing the middle section and water runs down— therefore any future leaks would have been blamed on the portions not done. My significant other is a contractor and he had his men come out and estimate the ENTIRE roof (rotten wood and all) to be done for $7000 or less. Hanson’s probably would have charged minimum $16,000 if they were quoting $10,000 for only the middle portion. And they were going to finance this for him at a rate of over 9%. The salesman he worked with was very obviously taking advantage of an elderly person who didn’t know any better. When my dad called to cancel his contract within the 3 business days he was allowed to do so, this salesman began verbally abusing my father over the phone.. yelling at him about how whoever he hires will be crooks and drug dealers. My dad politely said, okay, this conversation ends here, I’m hanging up. As the salesman continued to yell at him until my dad hung up the phone. The next day my dad went to his credit union and learned he was able to take out a home equity loan for an interest rate of 4.75%. So not only is he going to get his roof replaced for under half the cost of Hanson’s, by very honest and reputable people, even his interest rate is half of what they were going to provide at Hanson’s. The sales rep that met with my father took advantage of him not knowing any better and using his sales pitch jargon. The salesman realized my dad is on a fixed income and tried to reduce his monthly payments so it “felt better”. This company, and especially the salesman he worked with wholeheartedly and knowingly took advantage of an elderly person. Shame on them. For what? Commission in their pockets? I would highly advise to avoid this company at all costs. Get quotes from 3 companies and then you’ll see how this specific business operates. I’ve heard of Hanson’s dropping their cost by almost half when someone wasn’t immediately hooked, like my father was. That right there tells you that they’re legitimately trying to take advantage of people. Quoting obnoxiously high, hoping they get a client who doesn’t know any better.. and providing a 30-60 min spiel of why they’re the best and why they charge what they do. I plan on taking this complaint to the better business bureau because it was THAT obsurd and wrongful.

HORRIBLE customer service!!
Dear Marv,
I spoke with you awhile ago to resolve a roofing and gutter issue. After awhile we did have a young man come to "resolve" the roofing issue. So here's where we stand...It's been (once again) since last SUMMER since we've heard from you. We have YET to see a roofing inspector (which is part of WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE) NOT to mention that we ALSO have received no contact about fixing the damn gutters! Is it "out of sight out of mind for you Managers at Hanson's? What EVER happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? When a person pays over $18,000 for a roofing and gutter job...they should EXPECT it to be done RIGHT! Here we sit TWO YEARS LATER with a job that is STILL not right and NO inspection was ordered! What's wrong with your customer service team? I THOUGHT I might change my mind about your company...but it's worse now. Please contact me to resolve this...You have my number.
