Installation was fine despite taking longer than initially stated, and a couple of small imperfections. However, after less than one year we have a leaky faucet in the bath/shower. I have placed an online request for service with no response after one month. I have called twice, leaving a message the first time and being told the second time that the service location in my area has closed and my situation would be elevated to management. After one week, still no response. Don't depend on any work from 1800Hansens actually being warrantied.

I had hason come out to give me a quote. He measure my window gave me a qoute. And said he wouldn't be coming back out if I didn't decide today. Cause it take to much of his time. That's when I told him I just wanted a qoute. He press forward for my information which I did give him. And greensky approve me for 13,000. When I told him I just wanted a qoute. And wasn't ready yet cause I just open a line of credit somewhere else. So he explain that he will tell his boss that no one will be coming back out to my house. At all. Amen bad business from sales men he don't listen to the customer just wanted a sale.

Update after Hanson response
I have been requesting a copy of my contract from Hanson's for weeks. On the day of the sale, the salesperson promised a paper copy in the mail within a few days. Still Waiting. Have called him and e-mailed him, but no response. Called the office number on his card and was hung up on twice. Called Hanson's main number and was transferred to a person who said she would send a digital copy to my e-mail address, which she verified with me. Still Waiting. All reputable companies I have worked with in the past have provided me with a contract copy without my asking. I don't know when my conversion project (tub to walk in shower) will be done, but I need the contract copy to review what is being installed is what was agreed upon. Want to be able to recommend Hanson's to others, but their lack of compliance to my request does not bode well for the company. I am a senior seventy-seven years old. When I grew up, a promise made was a promise kept.

Hi Cindi, we are sorry to hear about the communication issues when it comes to the copy of your contract. We have escalated this to management, and a copy has been sent to your email. For further questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected]. Thank you.

We contracted with Hansons to install…
We contracted with Hansons to install gutter guards on our home. We ran into several snags and snafus.
First, a color change in the gutter guards was made within one hour of signing the contract. A change in contract was made with the salesperson. A day or so before the installation, we wanted to confirm the color change was active. It was not. I provided documentation that the change in contract was made. I informed the salesperson about the mistake. His response, "Wow my bad - I was driving when we did the CIC. Sorry about that - she has it now!".
Wow my bad?!?! The change occurred because I inquired, not because of the salesperson's doing.
Secondly, the job was done by a third party. We were not informed of this prior to signing the contract. In fact, we have learned that Hansons does not do any work but subcontracts all jobs. This misrepresents facts in both advertising and sales.
To add on to this, if Gish’s Gutters were subcontracted by Hansons, we probably could have hired Gish’s Gutters to do the job for a lessor amount.
Third, we did not receive a call prior to the installation crew arriving. When I spoke to a Hansons' representative on the phone regarding this, I was told an email/text was sent giving a window of time, 8am - 12pm. However, an email from Hansons reads:
"Your Project Coordinator will contact you the morning of your appointment to explain what to expect to take place that day and answer any questions you may have about the installation."
This call never occurred.
In all honesty, I cannot provide a review on Hansons' work because Hansons did not pick up a tool to do the installation. I can, however, provide an evaluation for Gish's Gutters. They were extremely professional and installed a product that was to our satisfaction. I would recommend Gish’s Gutters to other people.

We understand your frustration with the color change mistake, subcontracting transparency, and communication issues. Thank you for your feedback.

We have a lifetime warranty for…
We have a lifetime warranty for windows, roofing, gutters, and siding. We bought it all in 2020. In February 2023 there was a leak in my brand new finished office in my room from the roof. It literally took a month for somebody to come out. Supposedly they had fixed it. This morning it is raining and my roof is leaking! And I am told to make a claim with my homeowners insurance for interior repairs due to the damage done by their shoddy work on my roof! To say that I am unhappy does not even begin to cover it! I should not have to file a claim with my homeowners insurance because they cannot put a roof on a home! UPdate-03/31/2023 my husband went up to see if he could find the issue. They totally cobbled the entire chimney- left spaces, did not seal it at all. Warer is running thru the corner to the center and burned out the light all the way across the room to the door on the other side of my NEWLY finished office! The repair is to be tomorrow and it BETTER Be done right! If I could provide pictures you would be disgusted as am i! I am REALLY ticked.

If you like polite customer service…
If you like polite customer service people who are incapable of helping you other than by way of transferring you to another extension that does not pick up, or if you enjoy being put on hold for hours listening to the same music over and over then Hansons is for you. I spent over $25,000 over the past 30 years with Hansons, and every experience was great. Service was positive, sales folks were knowledgable and customer service, well, serviced customers. That was when people cared. That is long gone at Hansons.
I had a screen door break back in June. My product has a lifetime guarantee so I called 1800 Hansons for a replacement.
They pulled my file, I ordered the door and waited, and waited and waited. I called in August and was told, "Oh, didn't they call you to measure the door?" No, they did not.
I asked to schedule a measuring, even though I was told they had the measurements on file. I was transferred to scheduling who after 45 minutes did not pick up the phone.
Frustrated I called back and after another 20 minutes, a very nice young CSR apologized and said she would transfer me to scheduling. "NO DO NOT TRANSFER ME, they do not answer"
She put me on hold and 15 minutes later a very unhappy scheduler answered the line and my measurement was scheduled for the next day. GREAT.
The very polite serviceman who came spent all of 5 minutes measuring the door only to find out it measured exactly the same as what they had on the sheet. Amazing.
He again apologized and left. I waited.
It was now the early part of September and still no door so I called again. This time the hold times were longer, the answers were less helpful and in frustration, I asked for a manager, and I got Jason.
Now Jason is a nice guy but helpless to move anything along. I had to hear about COVID, people are working remotely, blah, blah, blah. He did make some calls and got back to me promising my door would be in my house around the 24th of September.
I get it, COVID has ruined everything so I thanked Jason and waited and waited and waited.
It was now the 6th of October and still no door.
Again on the phone, again the LONG holds, the endless empty transfers. I asked to speak with Jason, got his number, and left a message.
I called back went through the hold and transfers again only to be told my door had arrived on September 16! "Well then why is my door not in my house?" I asked. "No idea," was the reply. "You have to schedule an install," was the response.
"Fine, send me to scheduling."
A full 45 minutes later 4 different transfers and no response, I ask to speak with a manager. The manager was very polite apologizer often, reached out to get the door scheduled only to be told no one was there to schedule, I was told to call back. "No I am not calling back find someone to drop the door off in my driveway and I will put it in myself"
She put me on hold for the 5th time and came back with the great news that my door will be installed tomorrow at 9 am. I thanked her and suddenly my phone rings. It's Jason saying he got an email to call me.
I explain my frustration over getting my door and he goes into well everyone is working from home, its COVID, on and on.
I told him in no uncertain terms I was VERY unhappy with the service from Hansons and he should be too. I told him I was going to write this missive and he had the gall to say "You are going to write a bad report over a free door?"
I told him my door was guaranteed for a lifetime and YES I am unhappy about the experience and I want everyone to know what to expect because well, everyone is working remotely and it's COVID you know.
So here is my experience. I can honestly rate Hansons an A for product and an F for service.
I hope this helps you be prepared for what may or, hopefully, may not happen to you. Stay well

They installed my roof
They installed my roof, but then did not come back for a year to fix. they take your money and RUN. DO NOT USE THEM! They are a master at stealing your money! Don’t take them up on the 0% offer, it’s not worth it! They ought to be ashamed of themselves. Especially, the president, Brian Elias. I do not know if he is still around but you turned a good company into CRAP! they use 3rd party people to do their dirty WORK!

We had all our windows replaced by…beware
We had all our windows replaced by hansons a few years ago. They say they guarantee the windows for a life time, the sales people push that as a sales pitch. Originally when we first had service issues they were taken care of in a timely manner. July 3, 2020 a hansons service person was here and placed a service order for a window sash replacement to date December 11, 2020 it has never been replaced. I have called numerous times and many times I sat on their hold line for 20 to 30 minutes waiting for someone to answer, when they finally did all I get is the run a round. They say for some reason the order was not placed July 3, 2020 and did not get placed until September 2020. Then we spoke to a person names Julie who told us it would be in November 2020 and installed that month to date December 11, 2020 still waiting. I called again and was told it was ordered but had not come in. They gave me the service persons number his name I was told is Anthony. I have called him, texted him and heard nothing from him. Since Hansons was sold to another company it appears they just don't care. I bet if you want an estimate they would get someone there asap. Stay with a local contractor to avoid this.
