HANSONSReviews of hansons.com

First nobody called when the huge truck brought my supplies so it was a good thing I was home. The huge truck took out a limb from my tree. Then the drivers of the truck told me my trees would have to come down. Um no ...Three days after delivery Hanson's called to let me know my supplies would be delivered. Roof was done by a crew that was drinking. Pics to prove, provided to them. Plants are destroyed. Nails and shingle material still finding stuff and picking it up. Hanging wires even though " nobody should touch wires". Nothing is there fault! Never again! No return response once paperwork was signed.

Stay clear of this company! False promises, inexperienced workers, only out for your money! About 5 pieces of siding blew off my house from installation by HANSONS It has blown off twice and now again ! 3 times?Tried to get them to honor LIFETIME WARRANTY. All service requests are submitted via their website. They want you to send pictures of damage well a month went by I called and they claim request never went into my file. Immediately they got Justin from service department on the phone who can instantly tell if it was bad workmanship or the weather. Then he says well this is from 1995 I say I have LIFETIME warranty. He promised to come out but it’s been 2 weeks now. No call no show. They don’t give a crap about your investment .DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANYTHING USE LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS!

Unfortunately, the sales representative that gave us a quote oversold the services that Hanson's would provide. He guaranteed us that the contractors would ensure proper cleanup during the old roof removal/replacement process. He also emphasized that the contractors would take great care to protect the property (e.g. siding, landscaping, windows, etc.), and that they would ensure proper cleanup before they left (i.e. clean up nails). Lo and behold, the aftermath wasn't as portrayed. It appears that the contracting company wasn't able to hire skilled workers, and relied on younger, unexperienced employees, instead. The removal process was careless. They threw debris onto parts of the yard where they didn't place any tarps. Said debris hit the aluminum siding (i.e. causing dents), tore through one of the window screens (see photos), and some even hit the plants in our beds. The workers also had to replace some of the plywood on the roof, and while doing so, stepped on the ceiling drywall, causing damage (see photos). The worst part of all of this is that we were informed that most of the damage was just "part of the process". The only damage they said they were liable for was the window screen, but to this day (7/26/2022), they haven't fixed it (they completed the roof on 6/28/2022). We are utterly disappointed and DO NOT recommend Hanson's at all.

Do not trust this company. Purchased gutters and guards from Hanson with a 30 year warranty for cleaning if they ever clogged up. They are blocked up causing damage to my soffit, and when I called to have them cleaned, I'm told "they don't that anymore" buyer beware, they are bunch of snake oil salesmen. Update. This is another ploy this company pulls on customers, they reply to bad reviews with "please contact us", making it look like they want resolve your issue. I have contacted this company with no response from them, like I said "Snake oil salesman " at bare minimum I would have an attorney review your contract before signing.

Signed contract with Hansons in July, 2021 for windows and siding. Windows were installed and so far no problems. Months later the siding was delivered so I assumed I would be notified when installation would begin soon thereafter. I waited 3 weeks with no contact from them so finally I called them. They had no idea the delivery occurred and said they would schedule the install. December they finally began the work only to run out of siding and the job was put on hold AGAIN. It took a few more weeks to deliver the remaining material and a few more weeks after that to send the installer back out. Meanwhile 1/4 of the rear house area was without siding, only wrapped, through the worst of the winter months. The gutters were removed from the house at the beginning of the job and as such, snow melt and rain poured off the roof through the entire winter/spring and killed over $300 in perennials planted in flower beds last fall. The boxes of siding that sat in the lawn area through the entire winter and spring and part of the summer killed the grass!!!! Then, almost a year to the day that the initial contract was signed, I get notified by a General Manager that I had to reapply for financing or pay the entire bill of $24K immediately. I said "no, it's the fault of Hansons that the job wasn't completed for a year I will not reapply for financing that I was already approved for in July, 2021. Still waiting for GM to get back with me!

Worst company ever worked with. Terrible follow up. Good luck getting them to listen if you have any problems. Would not recommend to anyone.

Do not use Hansons worst experience I’ve had with any company ever. If you want your wife cursed at and screamed at by an installer. Then your neighbors to call you and ask if they need to call the police cause the installer is outside freaking out. If you want to be lied to and let down. Not even ordering all the windows you agreed upon then lie to your face. I will never do business and will never suggest anyone use them ever. Horrible all the way around.

I have been trying to get a hold of Hansons for months now. I have submitted multiple pictures showing that the metal trim they installed is falling apart and started to about a month after install. I have yet to receive a response. I really suggest looking elsewhere if you want work done on your house. At this point im trying to get a refund (which i doubt is possible) and just stick to painting the wood trim on my house every 5 years.
