HANSONSReviews of hansons.com

I just met with Meghan from Hansons. She was very professional and thoughtful in her presentation of replacement windows for my condo. She explained every aspect of the window job to be completed and gave me a fair price. I appreciated her focus on what needed to be accomplished and how that would be fulfilled. Thank you, Meghan.

Almost two years ago I sought out new windows for a recently purchased home. The original windows were crank out; ugly; old and didn’t open properly. $10,000 and 14 months later; 14 new windows, 14 months worth of headaches and poor customer communication. All 14 windows were loose fitting; you could jiggle the locks loose. None of the screens fit. The slider lock on one of the windows was jammed shut. The two larger bedroom windows still are too heavy / hard to open; once opened they won’t close and lock without fighting it. All the double hung windows had the same problem; when you closed them, the top came down with the bottom. They won’t provide a quality product, if you have a problem they won’t remedy the issue, if you aren’t satisfied; you’ll be fighting an uphill battle I had another contractor come in, he told me the windows were ill-fitted from inaccurate measurements. The installers used some type of metal to fill the gaps between the window and the frame leaving little support for the windows. They eventually replaced 7 of the windows but refused to replace the rest.

Do NOT USE HANSONS FOR YOUR ROOF!! They sent inexperienced workers, we called multiple times with our concerns. The roof is leaking in multiple places for the past four days and they haven't sent anyone to fix this!! They are not accepting my calls only text messages!? What kind of business is this?? They want to send the same crew out here that couldn't do the job in the first place! Deplorable and despicable!!!

So far they are flaky. It’s been almost a month since my garden window was to be installed. They promised it would be delivered by October 29 and insisted the windows were often delivered ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Each time I call for an update the date changes. After the 2nd time the delivery date changed I was assured that I would be notified if there are any further delays. We are on the 4th change of delivery date now and still never notified although Kara at Hansons stated that Alside glass gives them weekly updates. Alside is their window supplier. So they get weekly updates but feel it is the customer’s obligation to constantly call in for updates. That is simply bad business. I will revise this review if the service somehow changes. UPDATE 3/28/22: We FINALLY had our garden window installed on the 23rd(last week) after about a dozen delivery dates were scheduled. The install itself was thought to be satisfactory at the time however, they were pretty off on the original measurement of the window. The garden window is too wide to fit correctly in the frame so it is very snug when it should have a small gap on each side. The vertical measurement was over an inch short. They don’t think it’s a big deal and filled the huge void with foam. The window trim barely covered the gap. Hansons also forgot a set of shelf brackets and did not even install all the shelf mount screws. I made some complaints but pretty much got a canned response. Apparently I am supposed to just shut up because they claimed they had their “ best installer” on the job. This past Saturday I heard A loud pop but couldn’t figure out what it was. My wife later noticed one of the window inserts on our new garden window had broken, no idea why it broke on its own. So that is where I am at right now.

Windows were never installed correctly. Now I find out they never put flashing before installing windows. This has been going on since August. I have made over 15 phone calls. They are suppose to put in new siding, how can they install siding when they cannot get review in negative. I just can't get a reply nothing from Hanson's now windows are leaking. I did speak with GM several months ago, at least he got the windows in correctly, at which time they should have put in flashing, they failed to do that. I have no time to try to argue with Hanson's. The installers were all very nice. Management can be trying to deal with. They blame everything on consumer.

Roof job completed in 2017. Noticed a leak from a plumbing vent a few months later, reached out and got no response. Posted a bunch of bad reviews and they called me back really quickly. After their response I changed my reviews to positive because they seemed to be interested in fixing the issue. However, after I changed this review all communications and effort to fix the issue their roofer caused ceased. I have not heard from them and the issue persists. I only changed the review initially because they seemed to really want to help. But it appears now they only want their reviews to look good.

Let's start by saying out of the 3 services we purchased the window is only one done correctly. I also understand that right now contractors and employees are hard to come by. But when we did not have any issues before having work done and you broke my house and stop responding that's not right. I also paid for gutter guards for my house and they were never installed. We have called and no longer getting responses. If we are not going to get our guards please refund your customer but NOPE. The roof looks great, but the first rain storm, we flooded downstairs. They never sealed around the chimney. My partner he went up and sealed it himself guess what it no longer leaks. This is not a good company and I do not recommend them. Our salesmen Kyle at first seemed like he was helpful but turned out he cant do anything. Amber Trongo.

Worse concrete plant around not once but twice stuffed me over , ask for a certain brew get the opposite now trying to get refunded and more , but there the worst for customer service as well DO NOT GO THERE
