Emma did a great job. The replacement collar is supposed to be shipped out. I’ll have the defective collar shipped back as soon as I receive the replacement. Emma did a great job explaining everything. Thanks to customer service personal like Emma.

The device itself works really well. Does what it’s supposed to do. No complaints about that. Keeps my dog contained on my 20 acres. However, the collar itself is garbage. It won’t stay tight around my dogs neck. It eventually got loose enough to fall off and he got out in the road. The collar loosing is a known issue and you can find a lot of reviews supporting this. When I called Hallo and asked about a replacement collar, I was told I had to purchase a new one. For the price of these devices, and a known issue, the company should stand behind their product and warranty the collar. They should also fix the issue. If I purchase a replacement it will do the same thing. I now have a very expensive paper weight. Buyer beware!!!!!!! UPDATE: Halo contacted me an made things right.

As a long time Halo owner, I have loved the excellent service I continue to receive. Most recently I worked with Emma C. She was patient and explained everything extremely well. She was also very personable. Even when I was having connection issues (because I was driving…hands free) she stayed on the line. She took time to explain the technology of the collars and Halos commitment to ensure a dog does not have a defective collar. I am so thankful I called and got to work with Emma, she is doing an excellent job!

I was disappointed in the halo collar and wanted to share my experience here to warn others about what to expect. I purchased a halo collar for my mixed breed small dog who weighs about 24 lbs to use while on our family farm in a rural area of Kentucky. To start, the collar is quite big and heavy for my dog’s size and she strongly dislikes having it put on (though she doesn’t mind other collars). The real problem is that the collar gets poor service in the area where I need it - the area is rural but relatively flat and gets good cell reception with both AT&T and Verizon. The device only works while connected to WiFi at the house so it’s pretty useless in tracking my dog’s location or notifying me regarding boundaries. I have recently purchased another tracking device by Tractive and it gets great service throughout our property, so the problem appears to be Halo specific. Considering the price I paid for the collar ($600+tax) and the monthly rate for a plan that doesn’t work, this device has been a huge disappointment. To top all that off, it needs to be charged every night and is difficult to connect to the charger with its cloth cover on. I do not recommend halo for 1) smaller dogs or 2) rural properties.

Emma was my tech person a the Dog Park. What made her outstanding was her superior knowledge of the software, listened and responded to my questions and she aways deferred to my questions.
