Their customer service is the absolute worst and we're in the business so we should know. Their ability to respond to customers is terrible and they will NOT honor their warranty. I feel conned. My wife is beside herself. My dog is young and will survive but was essentially abused by a piece of tech, and my children have lasting trauma from the erroneous and unpredictable corrective cues (electric shock).

Got the product. Worked through the slow training modules. Started beacon training and found that dog was getting shocked long after she would be around the beacon and leave the area. Contacted customer service who honestly replied "when it comes to the beacon training, we do recommend skipping it because the beacon is not fully functional yet." This was on 10/19/21. We therefore moved ahead and created a fence although fence training appeared to be based off of the prior beacon training. The gps tracking once we created a fence was not accurate. The dog was in the neighbors yard and in the street and the Gps tracker showed the collar within the fence boundary. Very disappointed. Wasted my time, confused my lab, and shocked her inappropriately during beacon training. I am now working on trying to get my return authorization to send back but will lose a restocking fee.

I was excited about this collar. Hoped it would be a good solution. I want to warn anyone considering this as a way to keep their pet safe in their yard and have peace of mind, IT IS NOT. If you live near a busy road or an area with imminent danger for your pet, using this collar must come with constant monitoring of your pet. If you live in an area with poor reception for AT&T wireless, the wireless portion of this collar will not work. Due to the latency updates with GPS tracking on the collar it may too late if your pet gets into the road before feedback is applied. I bought this collar in December of 2020 to use as wireless fence pet for our 3 month golden retriever puppy. We did not begin full time training with it until March of 2021. We soon learned that our spotty AT&T reception and the collar's latency with GPS proved difficult to have boundary feedback applied or communication with the collar possible at all times. Our dog would wander out in the road and seconds later feedback would be applied. Unfortunately we were past the scant 60 day return policy and could not return the collar. So we made sure to have a constant eye on our pet and decreased the boundaries of the fence as much as possible to try to keep the range from extending past our wifi and bluetooth range. We decreased the range to give the boundaries more time for latency to update the collar. After about 3 months with using the collar it broke. Called customer support and they verified that the collar's antennaes for Bluetooth, GPS, Cellular, and WIFI all had failed. They issued a replacement. We used the replacement collar for the months of June, July, and the last week of August of 2021 and now it has failed again. All 4 ways of the collar communicating no longer worked. For a collar that has had to be replaced twice in six months and with poor latency in gps and spotty reception with cellular service, I once again inquired about a refund. I was told that would not be possible and that the only recourse I had was to enroll in a CARE program costing $10 a month with an ability to replace the collar once per year at a cost of $150. Given that the collar breaks 4 times a year and the down time with waiting for a replacement I would not recommend this collar.

Works great but stops working every couple of months. For the price you expect quality and a product that doesn’t stop working every couple of months. I’m on my second collar after 7 months waiting for the third if I can get Halo support to respond. Beyond frustrated with product and support. I just want my money back. Product is worthless, Grade F from Better Business Bureau. Don’t waste your money.

Frankly this collar is pretty amazing snd is much easier to train than I expected. I have read all these reviews about how long it takes to train a dog, but I guess my dog must be smart! The gps accuracy is pretty good but we live in metro area.

Just about as bad as it gets. Product doesn't work (at all: bluetooth, gps, nor fences, battery lasts 2-3 horus) and customer service doesn't exist. I tried to contact them within the 30 days to get a refund. They didn't reply to weekly follow ups for two months UNTIL, I initiated a chargeback on my card. sent back.

We purchased a Halo collar about a month and a half ago. We have tried to figure this collar out to no avail. We tried calling the support number, and remained on hold without talking to anyone for a half hour before we gave up. This collar has very bad customer support. I would recommend NOT wasteing your money on it!
