So I would leave a 0 star if I could I have had the collar for a year and hated it since I bought it. The collar will randomly correct your dog the strap falls apart even if you dont want to use their fence or GPS but just use as a corrective collar you still have to pay $50 just to reactivate it do not buy thos junk terrible customer service they wont talk to you nothing stay away

I’ve owned a Halo collar for over a year. I used it primarily with my police K9 on and off duty. I’ve had many problems including not charging, not connecting and most recently I received an error that tells me I need to not use the collar and replace. Could not contact anyone through the customer service portal or the dog park portion of the app. Now apparently I need to purchase a new collar instead of someone standing behind their product. Definitely won’t be buying or recommending a collar from Halo. Very disappointing!!

I would give a zero at this point. My dog was hit due to lagging of the halo 3. Halo said they would pay for my vet bills...this was weeks ago haven't seen a dime...I highly recommend dog guard the price is not much more than the halo and THEY come to your house to train your dog. Still waiting on my vet bills check......

I have had a terrible experience with Halo after 3 years of using their collar. There was a malfunction with a a horrendous alarm sound coming from the collar while on my dog. He was and still is traumatized. They said it was a problem with the software. They wanted me to send the collar back for examination, which I did, and they gave me a partial refund. Now I would like to try again about 4 months later and they say that they cannot do anything for me other than sending me to purchase a new collar online, as if I had never had this experience. I am very unhappy with their customer support and will go to a different company now.

I believe I have the Halo 4. Many nice features that are as advertised. However, the main feature - and reason we bought it - GPS boundaries is absolutely worthless. Halo customer service response is to keep moving the borders further away from where they really need to be. Really?? Our dog is so confused after repeated “feedback” while in the middle of our safe zone that she won’t go anywhere now. If you have a 100 acre square field it probably works great. If you have a residential yard like we do be prepared to be utterly disappointed. And for a dog that doesn’t know whether to come or go.

I do not recommend getting this collar. i purchased 2 collars for both of my dogs. One did not hold a charge and had to be warranty replaced and the other just started to not hold a charge and needs replaced. only had them for a few months and they are not working. do not even try to email the support email, you will not get a response at all. Customer service is awful. One of the collars is beeping at my dog when he is in the fence boundary. the fence boundary is not accurate also. i have 2 of these collars, do no buy a Halo collar.

I purchased two and neither would hold a charge, one of the chargers never worked. One of the collars snapped and since it broke my puppy of course played with it. They have a money back guarantee but would not honor it because it was not in the condition I recieved it. I explained 6 different times that it broke. They would not stand behind their product even though it had only been less than 30 days. Do not waste money go to another company!
