Halo turned off my dogs collar without my permission while I was on vacation! There was a battery alert but the collar still worked and held a charge for over 24hrs. I submitted for a warranty replacement as the alert suggested. NEVER WAS IT STATED THAT MY CURRENT COLLAR WOULD BE TURNED OFF WHEN MY NEW COLLAR SHIPPED! Not when received but....SHIPPED! Halo would not work with me even though I was on vacation and had a grandmother dog sitting. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My dog will be gone or dead when we get home.

The app warned us of an issue in one of our collars. Clicked on it, setup a support call, less than 10 minutes after call, replacement was on the way. Great Support (Shari)!

I love this collar, it's a game changer. I have 4 acres, my dog went from a wild child to a disciplined teenager overnight. I can't recommend this collar enough.

I wish I could actually give no stars. I purchased 2 halo collars after reading all of the “good” reviews. I am so disappointed. Every month one of the collars gets a notification that it needs replaced because of a sensor or battery issue or whatever. That’s great that it tells you, until it’s EVERY month this happens and our dogs have to be kenneled for a whole two weeks until the replacement gets here. This will be our FOURTH replacement collar in 6 months. We have spent so much money on these things for them to not work. Granted, Halos customer services is so nice, but I don’t understand why you have to schedule a phone call sometimes a week out to get to talk to them? Please please please. If you have a GSP or any sort of bird/ high energy dog. Do not get this collar. They are so unreliable, half the time I find my dog in the neighbors field. The physical collar itself broke the first week at the connectors so we bought different replace ment straps. The protective sleeves are cheap and just fall off at the Velcro, and my last complaint it how Halo claims it doesn’t use very much Wi-Fi. Starlink users be aware, our halo collars Drain our WiFi to the point we have no WiFi left 2 weeks into the cycle. I just check this morning and it has used up 2.4Ghtz! Thats insane for a company that claims it doesn’t use much!! I am sorry for the really big rant but I am so frustrated!!!! I am going back to petsafe wireless fence. It may not have the bells and whistles but atleast I know my dogs will be in they yard when I get home.
