The worst insurance company Ive every worked with. They always find loopholes in their terms & policies not to cover your vet expenses. I've been with them for 6 months now. I took my dog to a vet for different reasons a few times. PetPlan denied all the claims. $0 paid back

We got Petplan for our two rescue dogs about 6 years ago. We knew we never wanted to make a decision about how or if to treat our dogs if they became seriously injured or ill based on money. We’ve used it for minor things here and there over the years. Some years we would ask ourselves if it was worth the cost but we kept it, just in case, and I’m so glad we did. Last month our dog was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. In about a month we have had about $15,000 in vet bills! And she will need pricey ongoing treatment and rechecks for the rest of her life, as long as she is comfortable. I can’t imagine going through this already traumatic experience AND having to worry about how we will pay for everything. Thanks to Petplan we have been able to focus on our dog and her well being, not how we will afford her treatments. Without Petplan we would have to either blow our savings, go into debt or ask friends and family to help or some combination of the three. Petplan has been great to work with, making a claim through the app or online is super easy and reimbursements are quick. I highly recommend getting your pet protected through Petplan.

I have seen some good reviews and some not so good reviews. It seems the good out weighted the bad. The customer service was fantastic, Regina was very helpful and provided tons of information. I pick up Oscar on 8/1 and will signing him up asap!

After Quincy, our 2 year old cat at the time, decided to eat some sticks and rocks and had to undergo a $2,500 operation, we decided that it was finally time for pet insurance. Out of all the insurers, Petplan's model and coverage worked best for us. We cover routine care, Petplan covers illnesses and accidents; what's not to like? Well, shortly after we put Quincy on the plan, the dummy goes and eats string. He quickly became very ill and needed emergency treatment. Petplan saved the day by covering $4,800 of the $5,000 procedure! Unreal! They helped cover the costs of end of life care for Papaya, our older cat and just recently helped cover the costs of another prohibitively expensive incident with our newest baby cat, Lady Cocoa. Premiums have gone up slightly but that's understandable to us since my kitties have had such expensive care. With Petplan, we never again have to worry about these exorbitant medical costs when we know our kitties need help. We can focus on what matters. Thank you, Petplan! We're customers for life!

We've been with PetPlan for years - they've been great and always been a big part of us being able to make sure we could offer our pets best treatment they ever need. Years ago when our cats went through some serious issue that burned into 5 digits of medical bill; our dog going through his knee surgery (also easily in 4 digits); some random accidents here and there - they don't fail. They've made improvements over the years and only towards the good direction. I'll recommend PetPlan from my first hand experiences.
