I had a recommendation A very Painful and eXpensive Experience!
I had a recommendation from a person that I trusted; then after the fact I found that the recommendation was based on Radio/TV commercials. She never mentioned the price because it was found that she could not afford the inserts. So, I went to the store buoyed by the rec but totally ignorant of the price. I listened to the spiel... it sounded reasonable. Took my short walk around my chair... no problem (my feet had not complained). But then came the Shock!!! The minimum price out of three options was $1604 (1 pair of socks incl). I reasoned with myself to make the investment in myself. Even after finding that there was a No Refund policy with the exception of an instore purchase; I did it anyway. In short this was the STOOPIDest investment that I have made in my entire life! There are three inserts and I Tried, I Really tried to wear them as directed and it just didn't work out. All three of the inserts incl the astronomically expensive Footpad wreaked havoc on my feet. It was beyond uncomfortable; it was Absolutely PAINFUL! I stopped wearing them almost 2 weeks ago and both my feet and ankles still Hurt. As for the in-store only refund I guess that my choice will be lots of socks; and a Foot Massager (smh). Hopefully, I have said enough for at least one person to be spared the time and expense of the Good Feet Store. In doing so I would feel vindicated because I would have been in my mind fully refunded saving another person from throwing money away. There is no way possible that 3 $450 shoe inserts and an expensive foot pad is going to do anything more than to Bust your ankles, knees; and have you walking like a cripple. BTW, I just purchased a pair of Dr. Scholl's (Custom Fit) shoe inserts from CVS and I can feel the relief already :-)
