Can't be trusted. Moved my direct deposit to them and they just never credited it. Had to have a trace run on it. Do Not use this institution. They are dishonest.

Unremorseful lying and deceptive business practices seem to be the norm for Go2Bank. I signed up because of a sign-up bonus hosted on their website and after meeting the requirements Go2Bank did not follow through on their commitment. The bonus was supposed to post 48 hours after the first direct deposit from an employer. Nothing posted. Customer service acted like they do not offer any promotions whatsoever and that I would not be receiving anything for signing on with them. Working with their customer service was so frustrating I can't imagine holding much money with them. Avoid like the plague.

Go2bank is a rip off. They double charge you for transactions you make. They put a transactions that they already took out the money for pending transactions and then they put it through so they can charge you again for a transactions they already charged you for. They also have different dates on the transactions that they show you on your bank account

It is my opinion that this bank has committed a crime by impersonating me in order to open a bank account I never applied for. They open accounts without your permission, send you a REAL debit card, and do not answer the phone. Look on social media to see all the people they are violating. I realize those aren’t citable facts but it definitely shows trends. When you call for customer service they say you can “activate the card in one click” Which is super helpful if you are a criminal trying to steal someone’s Identity. They also acknowledge in recordings and on FAQs on their website that they send cards out that were now requested. I think it would be fair if we could all open accounts in the CEO George Gresham’s name, since thats what the bank does. I haven’t found his contact info yet, but I will eventually, and I’ll post it. This kind of thing won’t stop unless we file complaints, not just complain on social media. TRUST ME YOU DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH IDENTITY THEFT! ITS AWFUL. If you need the physical address in order to file a complaint with the FDIC, or The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation in CA, BBB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, write nerdwallet and business insider and encourage them to publish the truth and retract their recommendation, and anyone else you can think of, It appears to be 3465 E Foothill Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107 Or, I’m sure you can put their PO Box 1070, West Chester, OH 45071

I started out with Green Dot, and I eventually closed my account due to unauthorized purchases, and the long wait that it took to have my account refunded. I then signed up with Go2 Bank, and they were much better at first and I was satisfied with their services. Than I started to experience unauthorized purchases again! I have notified the Federal Reserve and the Consumer Protection Bureau. They need to be notified and keep on writing them until your issue is resolved! They have no right to steal our money or let anyone else steal our money! I have absolutely had it with this company! I am closing my account and taking my money elsewhere. I work too hard for this nonsense and I no longer trust them or their customer services representatives, some who are nasty and mean! Some of these women and men do not know what the hell they are doing! My daughter has the Excella Card and she has had it for 10 years! No problems at all with that card.

Before all this Green Dot Corp (Go2Bank) Should be banned in the USA. This is another shady company doing business in the USA and trying to steal or delay by providing refunds. Their Customer service center is in India and sometimes it is hard to understand. Purchase a Visa card, thought it was a Visa Gift card but I learned that in order to activate this card you need all the information that a bank requires to open an account. Oh boy, just try to get a refund, they give you a case number after another to refund your money. They collect all your personal information for a refund that they say will take 2 weeks but not when they give you another case number. Please do not purchase this card!

I went to 7-11 and put money on card. Got home, tried to activate the card. No go online. It said to activate it through the Go2 app. No go. I called the number on the card and requested a refund. I was told to provide picture ID, photo of the debit card, photo of the purchase and cash loading receipt. I instantly provided this information, front and back photos of ID and Go2 debit card. I was given a case number and told that I would receive a refund by mail within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks went by and no refund, I called and was told to expect a refund in 3 weeks (21 working days). After 3 weeks still no refund. I will continue to contact them until I receive a refund. I’m also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and every entity geared to address this issue. DON’T USE GO2!!!
