Worst online glasses shopping experience I've ever had. My prescription glasses got delayed by more than a week, and when it arrived, left lens has the apparently wrong prescription on it, which i can't read anything with. Ironically, left lens is twice as much thick as the right lens at similar level of prescription rx. I can't imagine how bad their quality control is. The error was so obvious and it should have been noticed and reexamined right away. Don't buy prescription glasses here if you value your eyes. Inaccurate prescription is serious issue. Follow-up: I have to reach out to multiple customer services until it can be replaced. The first one told me there was a "system issue" and i had to wait till next day for any exchange or return. I reached out again within half hour and the 2nd customer service agent helped with exchange without any "system issue".

The website is hard to maneuver

Ordering online was painful. I had to guess to get from bag to purchase. I must have tried one half dozen times before it all came together. Work on the User-Interface! Nevertheless Theier customer service is pretty good. Previous return of eyeglasses went very smoothly. So a mixed bag.

Service is abysmal. Cannot get anyone to help you if there is a problem with the order after you receive it. I have spent 1.5 hours on the phone today trying to get help. Unprofessional on the phone and you can hear all of the background noise from their homes when they are talking to you.

Online process has a few glitches and over the phone could be better as well. They don't honor promotions adevrtised when applying insurance on discounted glasses. It was less expensive than using my Davis vision policy. Great if you know exactly what you want. If you need insurance or need to speak with someone probably better going else where

Horrible experience. Their email response process is archaic, took way too many attempts to provide them with photos they could open proving the awful packaging of the original order (box was nearly flapping open, zero packing materials to keep the case with the glasses from bouncing around in it because it was entirely too large for its contents, the frames had evidence of wear, there was no cleaning cloth, and the case was misaligned, no doubt from its violent journey). The replacement also had no packing materials, despite my fervent request that it be better packaged than the first one, so the too-large-for-the-contents box was yet another vessel of insecurity as far as my purchase. These were $220+ frames, you’d think they’d want the customer to feel their investment was respected, especially after pointing out how poorly that had been conveyed in the first place! I had taken photos of the original frames, and the replacement seemed new, so at least they didn’t just re-box the original item. All things considered, however, I will absolutely never buy from this company again, and I certainly do NOT recommend it.

Terrible and time consuming website. They make you feel you're getting a good and fair deal when that is not the case. Up until I entered my insurance benifits, it was looking okay. When I did try using my benifits, the cost went up by $71. I than investigated what like glasses would cost me at a couple of local eyeglass stores and it came out on average using my benifits a savings of $40 vs. buying them from glasses.com

The prices on frames are higher if you have insurance. Also, the prices on mobile are different than on desktop. The frames were 181 on desktop, and 165 on mobile. The lenses were 25 dollars less expensive on desktop. It took over two hours to purchase glasses, because i had to research if I was getting a deal or getting ripped off. I did not feel confident I was getting a good deal. I did not feel that Glasses.com was being transparent. I felt that they are a sketchy company. In the future I would avoid using Glasses.com, I would avoid getting vision insurance. I would recommend finding frames you, then purchase them from whoever is selling them at the lowest price. Then take your frames to purchase the lenses at Costco - you can get a Costco gift card if you dont have a membership.
