My son and two granddaughters live in Singapore. My son teaches school there. When he first went there, I sent a "have a great school year" basket. It has become a tradition to do this-over 10 years, now. The place where I usually go to send my son's annual "have a great school year"basket, told me they could not do it any more.I was frustrated, to say the least. I don't "do" computers-except what I HAVE to. But, I typed in-send a fruit basket to Singapore...this place is what I chose. I am SO glad I did. The communication was pleaseant/professional, the basket was sent expediently, and it had all the things that were suggested. My son LOVED his "have a great school year" basket. Even though I did not give GiftBasketoverseas 3 full business days to deliver to Brazil, they made an extra effort to get the gift on time for my mother-in-laws birthday. I was doubtful they could do it, but they came through fantastically providing regular updates and a courtesy email upon delivery. My wife said that my mother-in-law cried when she received the gift and said that the presentation was beautiful. They definitely exceeded expectations. Thank you!

I first used giftbaskets months ago. I placed an order from USA going to Russia. I placed on a Saturday night and it was delivered to my friend on Sunday. I was amazed how quick it was. I just placed my 2nd order on May 3rd another Saturday night and again it was delivered the next day. My friend loved it. Her Mom is going in the hospital for surgery so I just wanted to give them some joy. They forgot to put my card with the message with gift. It really was not a problem but they really stepped up and the next day brought my friend a complimentary box of chocolates. Keep their website disclaimer in mind when reading my review: "we need 3 days to process and confirm your order before the gift is shipped." Despite knowing about the disclaimer, I ordered the gift on the 24th (from California) and was hoping to get it delivered on the 25th (to Belgrade). As soon as I placed my order one of their reps called me asking me to confirm the delivery address... I said fine but it'll have to wait until tomorrow because my int'l friend is asleep at the moment. I woke up the next day and my friend was in tears because she got the gift delivered. Figuratively speaking, I was floored. I couldn't believe that within a few hours they were able to figure out the delivery address and have it shipped to her. All of their reps are amazing and will go above-and-beyond in making sure you're a satisfied customer. In 30 years I have never experienced better customer service -- A+++ all the way. Thanks again to their whole team.

It is in difficult times that you really know the character and quality of people. The same applies to business and companies. There we were. Living in Australia and wanting to send a gift basket to our uncle in the US, celebrating his amazing 100th birthday. We did it through Gift Basket Overseas and were happy with the user friendly site. Simple process. Short and efficient. To our surprise, the basket didn't arrive at the date promised. We began an investigation, compounded by an 18 hour time difference between Sydney, Australia and Scottsdale, AZ. From day one, every single customer representative we corresponded with only had one thing in mind: to resolve the problem. Through many iterations we found out I had a typo on the street name and although the zip code was correct, the courier delivered to an address that was not our uncle's. GBO sent a replacement basket at their cost and still that didn't make it to him. After a lot of investigations and the personal involvement of their customer service director, we finally had the gifts arrive at their destination. A very big thank you and we can assure you that you now have a customer for life and I will be recommending you to my friends. You showed us what customer service is all about. Thanks!
