Be careful when responding to the link that LabCorp sends you when your physician orders lab work. In fact I would remove LabCorp as your preferred lab as I did yesterday. Explanation: On 1/7/25 @ 9:13am MST I received a link from LabCorp for lab work ordered by my doctor. The linked website is at best confusing and at worst intentionally deceptive. Making an appointment with GetLab is not the the same as making an appointment with LabCorp. GetLab comes to your home but that distinction is not clear on the website. I made an appointment on 1/8 for a blood draw on 1/10 between 6am & 8am MST. The confirming email was date stamped 1/8/25 @ 1:26pm MST. The next morning (1/9/25) I called LabCorp because I wanted to change the time of the appointment on 1/10. They said I wasn’t on their schedule and that they didn’t charge for appointments. I went back to the link and discovered the “slight of hand” the website promotes either by accident or by design. I immediately canceled that appointment and received a confirmation of the cancelation date stamped 1/9/25 @ 12:38pm MST. On that same day I realized that GetLab had charged my credit card $99 so I contacted my bank and said I was worried that this had been charged even though I had canceled the appointment and I had written proof of that. To make this story shorter the end result was that GetLab ended up absconding with my $99 because “I had not canceled my appointment 24 hours in advance”. There are lots of alternatives to LabCorp and I would recommend using those alternatives. GetLabs response to my review is the epitome of why you don’t want to get tangled up with GetLabs. The response indicates either a lack of understanding of how GetLabs responds to charge objections OR and intent to deceive. The following is my bank’s reply to my objection to the charge: “Unfortunately, this transaction with GETLABS GETLABS.COM FL is non-refundable, as stated in the terms and conditions. Because GETLABS GETLABS.COM FL’s customers are required to provide all personal information and acknowledge that they accept all terms and conditions of the transaction, we are unable to intervene on your behalf. We suggest that you continue to work with the merchant directly to resolve this matter.” I will let you decide if it was the fault of my bank or the response by GetLabs to my objection to the charge and if GetLabs is even remotely interested in me continuing “to work with the merchant directly to resolve this matter.”

Ashley came to our house and was kind, encouraging, and gentle with my son who had to have his blood drawn for the 1st time and was very nervous about it. She happily answered his questions, she told him when the hardest part was over (the needle was in) and when he was almost finished. She let him know he was doing a great job. It's also great that there are appointments on Saturdays! The 2 hour appointment window is convenient!
