Hi Katherine, we're so glad you're enjoying your fountain, and we really appreciate you sharing your suggestions! ❤️ For the lid filter, the flat side should face the filter case lid, while the other side faces downward. We understand how clearer instructions and an easier way to manage orders and subscriptions would make things more convenient. Your idea for a mobile app is a great suggestion, and we'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our team. Thank you for your kind words about our customer service and for recommending us to your fellow pup parents! We're grateful for your support and are always happy to help if you need anything. 🥰🐾 — The Selene Team
