Run as fast as you can away from this company. They are deceptive from the word go. When you attempt to cancel the subscription you DIDN'T sign up for, they ghost you and pretend you haven't contacted them. I had to turn them into my bank. No product is worth this type of corporate scamming.

The product is meh - not revolutionary as suggested and my dogs were kind of scared of it at first. The subscription opt in is apparently not optional and incredibly expensive with no response from customer care so I’ve been charged an additional 60USD. They made re-entry and password reset difficult although was eventually able to get in and cancel further subscriptions. Do not recommend in general, the dogs drink the same as before. Product ok. Company lack of response and no refund for subscription I didn’t know I had. Careful with this one.

Hi N, we sincerely apologize that your experience with Selene hasn't been what you hoped for. We understand how upsetting it must have been to encounter unexpected charges, especially when you were having difficulty reaching our team for assistance. This certainly isn't the experience we want for you. We'd also like to gently clarify that our filter subscription is completely optional and is not required when purchasing a Selene fountain. Customers are welcome to choose a one-time purchase or recurring deliveries, whichever works best for their needs. We're truly sorry if this wasn't made clear enough during your ordering experience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We'd love the opportunity to personally look into what happened and help make things right. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and reference this Trustpilot review so our team can prioritize your concerns, review the charges, and work with you toward a resolution. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Your concerns matter to us, and we hope you'll give us the opportunity to provide the care and support you deserve. We're here to help and would really appreciate the chance to turn this experience around for you. — The Selene Team

Buyer beware! Terrible customer service and unfair return policies. I never received one of my orders and had to fight for a refund. For my second order, I canceled it within their required 60-minute window with time-stamped proof, but their customer service failed to process it before shipping. Despite this being an operational error on their end, they are refusing to provide a pre-paid return shipping label and expecting me to pay out of pocket to send it back. Do not buy from this company!

I entered my delivery address wrong by one number - notified the 9/8, responded back9/20 telling me to reach out to shipper. Well that went no where. My package has been sent back to provider so they did not lose inventory. I spent over $130 and their best option is buy again and it’s 50% off. Wow, amazing customer service - no thank you

Company that uses fear-based AI marketing lies, telling people if they don't use their bowls, they are poisoning their dogs. NEVER BUY FROM A COMPANY LIKE THIS. Edit after response- they have ads all over YouTube saying this very thing and lie about not supporting it when they themselves approve these ads, what a shady company. Please dont buy from them.

Hi Alex, thank you for sharing your concerns. We're sorry to hear that our marketing left you with this impression, and we'd appreciate the opportunity to provide some clarity. At Selene, we don't believe that using traditional water bowls means pet parents are harming their pups, and that's certainly not a message we stand behind. Our focus has always been on providing pet parents with another option for keeping their furry friends' drinking water fresh and clean. We believe every pet parent deserves to make the choices that work best for their pups, without feeling pressured or judged. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, Alex. If you're comfortable sharing the specific content that raised these concerns, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We'd be happy to take a closer look and address any questions you may have. — The Selene Team

I purchased nearly $200 worth of items from Selene, which included a fountain and filters, and when the item associated with the shipment arrived, it was the wrong item entirely — just some random goods from China including a deflated football and an iPhone case. I immediately contacted them, including sending pictures, and have received no response. (They responded once asking for pictures but no response to the pictures or a follow up message.) I have never had a worse experience with an online purchase. Do not trust.

Hi Merritt, we sincerely apologize for the experience you've had. We understand how upsetting it must have been to receive a completely different package when you were expecting your fountain, especially after looking forward to your order. We'd like to offer a little clarity about what may have happened. Our fountains and accessories are carefully packed before shipping, and based on the information available, it appears there may have been a package mix-up during the courier's delivery process. We understand that this is not the experience you expected, and regardless of where the mix-up occurred, we want to help get things sorted out for you. Upon checking, our team is already in touch with you directly regarding your order. Please know that we're here to continue helping and will work with you toward a resolution. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to look into this, Merritt. We truly appreciate your patience and hope we can make the rest of your experience with Selene a much better one. — The Selene Team

This is the second TrustPilot review that I have written regarding this company. I too, was scammed into subscribing to a very expensive monthly recurring cost for dental treatment as well as additional filter filters for a product that was received was missing parts. I still do not have a refund yet from that organization. Read the fine print. I would encourage anyone reading this to not order anything from this company. Their deceitful marketing practices are disappointing to say the least and response time is nonexistent. I am personally getting ready to file a complaint with a Better Business Bureau.
