Instead of manipulating the market (for example, by using consumer reports), they should focus on improving their BEV vehicles. They opted to assault Tesla instead of finishing their homework because they couldn't compete. I'm hoping they'll go bankrupt shortly. It would be well-deserved!

This company became highly politicized…
This company became highly politicized and "woke". Instead of keeping away politics and propaganda from people's workplaces, GM Canada started to brainwash and divide it's employees, like it happens in communist regimes. People who don't agree with political views being shoved by GM management down a throat can't speak up as they are shut up and shamed. The CEO Mary Barra was praising Joe Biden, among all saying she is very happy he likes GM cars. BLM despite it's violent protests was praised too. Ironically Mary Barra was accused by BLM for racism, good for her and GM.
Lastly, the company imposed mandatory vaccines on all it's workers! In the document GM Canada released to all their employees every demand is illegal according to Ontario's law:
1. Demand to disclose personal vaccination status
2. Repressions for those who failed to comply : Termination of employment, Loss or bonuses, Forcing to unpaid leave, Formal letter to file, Safety and compliance discussion.
In addition I can mention long working hours, deadlines stress and the worst health benefits I ever saw (my past experience and my friend's current benefits).
Working environment became even more stressful and toxic after this private company dare to impose vaccine mandate which violates human rights and current provincial laws, which I have checked with my lawyer. May be GM Canada has insider information from government about changing laws? No wonder specialists are leaving it in batches. I'm leaving too, this is not a decent workplace anymore.
My message to GM Canada: your methods are disgusting, hope they bring you to a place you deserve.

My dad retired from GM, died, then his estate was stolen!
My dad worked for General Motors for about 30 years in Saginaw and Flint, Michigan. He retired in 2010, then moved back to Jackson, Alabama where we were born. He was very cheap and frugal, saving 90% of his money! Sadly, he died in February 2021, reportedly from COVID. I was in jail fighting false allegations. Therefore, I couldn't attend his funeral. Although my dad wasn't married and reportedly didn't leave a Will, I wasn't contacted by anyone as one of his only two legal heirs. Decisions were made without me, illegally. After going to trial, fighting, and being fully acquitted of the false allegations (found not guilty), I looked into what happened with my dad's estate. My dad's brother, James, informed me of the fraud and theft of my dad's estate (bank money and life insurance)! Uncle James informed me his siblings were bragging about stealing all my dad's money and life insurance (over $500,000) for themselves with the help of Andrews Funeral Home in Jackson, and the help of their friends who work at the bank my dad had his money in! I contacted Metlife as my dad's heir. However, they refused to help me. They would only confirm my dad had a huge life insurance policy, it was paid out to multiple heirs (dad's siblings through fraud), and Andrews Funeral Home reported dad's death. The funeral home director is close friends with my Aunt Thelma who illegally took over dad's estate, made all the decisions after his death, and stole all his money and life insurance. She distributed dad's money to whomever she chose! She never probated his estate or received authority through the court. I've hired a law firm to investigate. They've contacted Aunt Thelma numerous times with no response. The police are now investigating the fraud! Metlife and General Motors have not helped.

DO NOT BUY CADILLACS
Worst worst decision I have ever made was to trade my Range Rover for a 2021Cadillac Escalade. The worst service ever. I pay for this truck and it’s at the dealer since a month and a half. Engine issues! Last thing I know is that they don’t even have engines. It might take 6month. It is the worst cars ever. I am so mad. GM is the worst car maker and Cadillac the worst cars and trucks. I wonder who will give my money back. They are all bunch of liars.

My car only has 60,000 miles on it
My car only has 60,000 miles on it. It stalls out, and bucks. This is very unsafe and I have almost been hit a couple of times already. When I contacted GM they did not care and would not help at all. All they said was that there were not any recalls. Worst car I have ever own (and I am 50). GM does not car about their cars or customers once they are off the lot!

Most unreliable vehicle ever
Most unreliable vehicle ever! 45 days in repair shop. Gmc customer service has been unhelpful at best. Clearly a lemon law case and they are dragging their feet while this causes much unnecessary stress for a stage 4 cancer patient!

Buyers Beware
I am an Active Duty Military member who dreamed of owning a Tahoe since my first deployment back in 2010. It took me 11 years to finally take the leap and buy my dream car. I bought my custom ordered Tahoe in March 2021 and to say I was excited is an understatement. It wasn’t until June that I noticed my Tahoe was leaking water through all four areas where the seatbelts come out. I heard a swishing noise and then both of my children (one being a newborn) starting crying from getting water poured on them along with water covering most areas of my vehicle. There was enough water that it saturated a towel and I knew at that moment something was very wrong with my vehicle. I immediately called the dealership and the earliest they could get me in was 3 days later. When I brought my vehicle in, they had it for the entire day and could not find the source of leaking and chalked it up to possible condensation. It was less than two weeks later (19 June 2021) the same thing happened again besides even more water came in and I was able to take a video of water pouring from the seatbelts and my dash. I called the dealership again and brought it in on 21 June 2021. Knowing the vehicle was leaking the dealership left my vehicle outside until the afternoon of 23 June 2021 in which multiple rainstorms occurred prior to them bringing it inside. On 19 June 2021, I called GM customer service and a case was created. Over the next 44 days my vehicle was in the shop getting repaired. A new sunroof frame had to be installed amongst other repairs and I had to beg GM to conduct third party mold inspection which came back positive. Being that I have two children, one new to this world and the other who gets sick very easily and is prone to respiratory issues, I needed GM to do right by my children and make sure they wouldn’t be impacted by their negligence. I requested GM replace my vehicle, instead they had it professionally cleaned and retested in which it came back negative. I am concerned mold could still be internal to all seats and internal to the dashboard since those areas were not cleaned or couldn’t be. I received my vehicle back today and the best offer GM could do was possibly cover 1 to 2 of my car payments. My vehicle also sustained damage to multiple areas requiring it to be repainted in several areas (we're waiting for appointment). Buyers I urge you to use caution when buying this type of vehicle or any vehicle from Chevy/GM. Their customer service is very poor and they will do anything to avoid fully resolving an issue they caused.
