Re: Chevy Bolt 2021 recalled unsafe battery July of 2021 still not replaced. Company says they have a buyback program but they never return calls. Cars have burst into flames. Told not to charge fully or let mileage go below 70% so long distance travel is impossible. terrible customer service!!!

Well, let me tell you, I've been a GM owner for a very long time and perhaps now I will now be changing to Ford. A brand new 2016 Chevy Equinox Timey Chain with only 76,000 miles fails and causes internal failure to the engine. Of course, all GM is concerned about is the warranty, not the product and the customer satisfaction, just the warranty. So, its ok for the timey chain to break at that mileage and all they have to say is it's out of warranty. That's customer satisfaction and loyalty to their customer. Thanks for nothing GM!

DO NOT buy 2018 Chevy Malibus!!! You will continuously be paying out of pocket for repairs. Just bought my car 2 years ago and have had this issue numerous times (shift to park). Warranty will not cover it and dealerships will charge you around 700 each time. Save yourself the trouble and go with another model! GM will not do anything about it and say they can’t do anything.

Was having multiple issues with my 2017 Gmc Sierra not starting and after towing it to the dealership for some time even overnight was told to pick it up it started so was told nothing wrong .This happened more than once over 2 years. Now the truck would not start and was told that the starter has a dead spot and because the truck is now out of warranty with only 22000kms the cost to repair is 700.00 dollars to me. W ITH NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL. Not happy at all .

If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would, I just went through a ridiculous process with GM in regards to my crankshaft, I get the truck back has tape used to hold the wires together, resting on my hot engine. They wanted 8,100$ to do the work after I have owned the vehicle for 3 years, 2 months out of warranty and they can’t cover anything. They try to offer you a small in house deal and total give you the shaft, needless to say I will never buy a vehicle from GM again. Absolutely horrible customer service. My vehicle is 2 months over 5 years old and has already needed a new transmission, needed a new control module, and now my cam shaft. I have spent more on this new vehicle then I ever had on any other vehicle. Their cars are made a poorly as possible. DO NOT BUY GM SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE

Frames are junk, have been I found out sadly after the fact. I paid a premium price for a 2007 GMC 1500, 60,000 miles. It body wise had no rust, clean beautiful truck from NY. Ran beautifully. One year later had fist size holes on each side on frame. Warning. I repeat, you can have a beauty with a junk frame. Don't buy GM. Otherwise I have always liked them. It's true about the frames. Check it out yourself.

absolute ridiculous process I went through to purchased a 2019 Chevy Equinox. The receptionist at the front desk as you walk in. This lady is amazing the way she treats people and goes out of her way to help every customer that she can. I give her nothing but the highest praise. This was very unpleasant to go through with this dealership. The lack of communication among people. Mark Ball work with me and was very good at taking care of me and knowing his job. That's about where the positive at this dealership stops. I purchased a certified 2019 Equinox with 17,000 which had supposedly been put through 130 some points of inspection that they gave me a paperwork for such actions. After purchasing the car walking to leave I noticed that the top of the car and the shark fin antenna did not sit on the roof. I showed Mark and he went to retrieve a services associate that I assume was a manager. He stated he will get it fixed when I bring my key in to get it programmed. I brought the car in and then they decided oh no they would not fix it! This was going to be timely to remove the headliner and fix this problem. So obviously you have to ask how much of the certification check sheet was even inspected. Obviously my vehicle it was not inspected. "Promise made promise kept" my ass I went to the license branch to get my plates and title changed on the 44th day because they stated it takes a while to do this. The DMV stated they have not received the proper paperwork on the odometer reading so I can proceed with such actions. I called Muncie corporate and they stated that the dealership had not got the proper paperwork for the mileage that was on the odometer. So I wonder how many miles are really on the vehicle or what the problem was with the mileage sheet. The license branch stated they gave them the wrong mileage? Finally they gave me a dealer plate to use until this problem is resolved. After 64 days I receive a call that I can go get my plates. My girlfriend decided to purchase a new 2022 Chevy Equinox while I was purchased mine. She had to order it and wait for it to come in which did go find! When she received her Equinox Mark stated that they would tint the front windows to match the back windows $150. After she received the unit it did not have any tinting on the back windows. We went and seen Mark and he stated for another $100 they would do the back windows and the front. A total of $250. The first $150 was placed on to the loan and we witness mark writing it on the paperwork. We went to pick up vehicle on Marks after I receive so. Marks day off but still was keeping up on this for her. Mark stated to see Jason in financing. We did as he stated. Jason stated to us nothing had been paid on tint! The total amount due was $250. Mark told them earlier what was going on he stated on the phone but they forgot to do the paperwork they stated. It was on the we owe paperwork. During the conversation with Jason about the situation I asked Jason to call Mark he would straighten it out. Jason just became a smart-ass about the whole thing! He just wanted to argue with me about calling Mark on the phone. He kept going to the point that he made me very mad steady it's not here it's not here until the pointI raised my voice and got very upset!!! My girlfriend ,brother a friend of my girlfriend and myself have purchased vehicles in the last 2 months from Hubler! I wish I had it all to do again because it would have never happened at Greg Huber Chevrolet in camby Indiana. I totally feel Jason deliberately twisting words and lying about Mark calling and the fact that it had been partially paid on the paperwork that mysteriously didn't show up on his behalf. The gentleman that runs the facility which I have forgotten his name came over to me and my girlfriend after the whole thing blew up and stated they would cover the charge for the windows. Very nice gentleman but there's some serious lack of communication and respect towards customers at this facility. This is how my experience went at camby hubler Chevrolet! I'm sure this dealership has a lot of unhappy customers! So this needs to be looked into! "Promise made promise kept" That's the biggest line of bull I've ever heard!

I was GM my entire life… until the nightmare I went through with my 2017 Chevy Cruze diesel! An absolute nightmare that I will never wish upon anyone else. I finally purchased foreign (kia with a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty) and have been happy since so far. Even if I end up in another nightmare with kia I will NEVER buy GM again for the way I was treated. My fathers side of the family who work for GM are angry at me for not supporting them anymore. I don’t care at all… if they went through what I did they might go foreign themselves!
