What an absolute scam
What an absolute scam! Wrong size sent (US 10 sent instead of UK10), so not my error and then when I try to process a return the shipping cost is more than the cost of the shoes. So a pair of shoes £52 that are frankly not worth £20 and certainly not leather as described and then shipping costs of more than the cost is ridiculous and a scam. So now I have a pair of shoes that arent fit to give to a charity shop. Lesson learnt!!!!!

They said they delivered my order to a…
They said they delivered my order to a nonexistent address. They refused to deliver it to me and refused to refund my money. They said oh sorry. Do not order anything from GatsbyShoes. It’s a scam.

I was interested in the shoes because…They advertised, comfort and easy return policy
I was interested in the shoes because of the purported comfort, but their selection of Wide Width sizes made me hesitate. An individual from their company contacted me and said they were confident I would find a fit and if not they were returnable. I ordered and received them (all the way from China based on the shipping type they selected) they arrived in a plastic bag (very classy). I couldn't even try them on, they were so small. So i initiated a return only to be hit with a 10% restocking fee and $12 to Fed Ex them back (which is ironic since they were shipped to me on a slow boat for about $3). I reached out to them to see if they would consider waiving the at least the shipping fee as the sizing issue is on them. I the response I received might as well have been A/I or a robot as I received only a "were very sorry that you're dissappointed" response.

Chinese SCAM!!
This is a Chinese scam. The shoes are the shoddiest quality, basically unwearable. Cheapest materials. Not orthopaedic, they are just flat soles. I wish I had read the returns policy - they first deduct a "restocking fee" of 10% of a "gross" price - which is much higher than you actually paid. Then the returns charge is is $40-$50. So in total, it will cost more to return the shoes than to throw them out. A COMPLETE CON.

Poor Quality and No Customer Service
While I liked the shoes, they fell apart (the sole separated from the rest of the shoe) after 2 1/2 months of wearing. Their website gives a phone number to call for "24-hour support" however you get a recording which states to e-mail for assistance. No one ever answers and there is no way to leave a message. The website also states that they have a "100% satisfaction guarantee". I emailed and provided a picture of the damaged shoe. The response I got stated that the guarantee is for only 30 days and they offered me a 30% discount to buy another pair of shoes. How absurd!!! Why would I spend any more money on poor quality shoes from a company that doesn't stand behind their products.

Bad customer service and cheap shoes
I ordered a pair of (wide)shoes that were still to narrow and didn’t fit. I also felt that the leather seemed more like very thin vinyl or plastic. I returned the shoes that I had to pay for the shipping to do so, and after 10weeks I still have not received the refund. They will generically answer an email but will not return a requested call or have a phone number that I can find to call them.

If I could give 0 stars
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Gatsby Shoes took my money in November 2023, but I never received the two pairs of shoes I ordered. They said that they were delivered, so I had no recourse. I tried to contact them multiple times without success. The email I received from them was addressed to someone else who did not receive their order. I would NEVER recommend ordering from Gatsby shoes!
