Pretty happy with my experience so far. The Lemonsweet bowl was great. The Tuscan bean stew was also good. Feels good to eat clean. Everything arrived fresh. I accidentally signed up with an old email account and I reached out and they fixed it immediately. A mobile app would be nice though. Website works but seems a little outdated. Hoping the future deliveries will remain smooth.

We had only one salad that we enjoyed…
We had only one salad that we enjoyed from their selection of salads and power cups Etc. Supposedly we were part of their reward program called lunch money but never could seem to get any lunch money deductions from our account. I do not recommend Garden cup.

Love the convenience
Love the convenience, options and great, healthy meals I’ve been getting from Gardencup for months now. Today my delivery was accidentally taken from my porch by another delivery driver, and in the confusion I contacted Gardencup. Rod @ Gardencup took such good care of my concerns, even after we figured out the problem. Gardencup goes above and beyond when it comes to customer satisfaction!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience
Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! I signed up for the subscription on 6/6 and cancelled literally the same day on 6/6. On 6/15 I got a text that said my order was being delivered for 6/16. When I reached out they claimed my order was already processed that day. Absolutely RIDICULOUS and a scam! STAY AWAY!!!

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While we understand how frustrating this was, we do want to clarify that our system automatically processes upcoming orders unless a cancellation is made before the cutoff window—which is noted during sign-up and in our emails. That said, we never want anyone to feel misled or unheard, and we’re happy to take a second look or make things right. Please feel free to reach out directly so we can help resolve this!

I only used it for a couple of weeks
I only used it for a couple of weeks, but the second week all the lettuce is wilted. Grapes were already mushy. I cancelled the subscription and they still sent another package even after I put to skip the week and cancel the subscription.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate the honest feedback. It’s disappointing to hear that the freshness wasn’t up to standard in your second box. Our team works hard to ensure every cup arrives crisp and high quality, so we take that seriously. As for the subscription, we’d love to look into what happened and make it right. Skipped weeks and cancellations should always be honored, and if there was an issue on our end, we absolutely want to correct it. Please feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected] so we can make this right for you.

Awful Experience
Set up our Gardencup Subscription excited to be able to enjoy salads daily. Scheduled my order for April 14th delivery as I am out of town. My order was just delivered to my house. Reached out to customer service with screenshots, they would not help. There are much better subscription services out there like CookUnity.

We’re truly sorry for the mix-up and the frustration this caused. It’s incredibly important to us that orders arrive when expected, and we understand how disappointing it is to receive a delivery while you’re away—especially after expecting it for a specific date. We’d love the chance to make this right and regain your trust. Please reach back out to our team at [email protected] so we can take another look and offer a resolution.

DO NOT order Gardencup
I ordered Gardencup with optimism, hoping it would be a convenient and healthy solution for my busy workdays. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disaster. The shipment was delayed multiple times, and when it finally arrived, the food was completely inedible. I immediately canceled my subscription and removed my credit card information, receiving confirmation for both actions. Yet, despite this, Gardencup still charged me for another shipment and sent me unwanted products.
Throughout this frustrating ordeal, I contacted the company four times via email, seeking answers. Not once did they respond. Their failure to acknowledge cancellation requests and their willingness to charge credit cards for unauthorized purchases raises serious concerns about their business ethics.
Gardencup’s business model is fundamentally flawed. Their product is unstable, highly susceptible to spoilage, and their customer service is nonexistent. They do not honor cancellations, ignore inquiries, and engage in what can only be described as deceptive billing practices.
Consumers deserve transparency, reliability, and respect. Gardencup offers none of these. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company—learn from my experience and take your business elsewhere.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience and want to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this caused and we take full responsibility.
Delays and spoilage are never acceptable, but you are always covered by our Fresh Guarantee to prevent issues like this. As for the charge after cancellation, that absolutely should not have happened, and we understand how upsetting that is. We also take your concerns about unanswered emails seriously, and we're reviewing this internally to ensure nothing is slipping through the cracks.
This is not the experience we want any customer to have. Please reach out to us directly with your order information so we can fully investigate and resolve this for you. We appreciate you giving Gardencup a try, and we would love to make it up to you!

I had been hoping for something similar…
I had been hoping for something similar to Farmer's Fridge, which I had found in NY locations but wasn't available for delivery in Connecticut where we live.
I found Gardencup online and the photos looked very similar to salads I'd gotten through Farmer's Fridge vending machines which were the same price as Gardencup and a well-balanced blend of lettuces with proteins, beans and veggies. Regrettably, when I received my Gardencup salads, most of them were about 90% shredded lettuce, with very little else to it. The jars were packed top to bottom with just lettuce, with less than an inch of other ingredients crammed into the bottom of the container. I also hated the flavors of the dressing; like the Southwest dressing tasted like onion dressing with no spice.
Ultimately, I decided the cost-to-value wasn't working for me and I canceled my subscription. They offered me $10 off to return, but I still need a well-balanced and nutritious salad which they weren't offering. Now when I go into NY where I can find Farmer's Fridge, I bring along a cooler and an ice pack and just load up to bring it home.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback, we genuinely appreciate it. Our goal is always to offer salads that are both convenient and well-balanced, in both flavor and proportion.
Your note about ingredient distribution and dressing flavors is incredibly helpful and we’re always working to improve, and feedback like this pushes us to be better. We have recently added a ton of new options to our menu- If you ever decide to give us another shot down the road, we’d love the opportunity to show you some of the improvements we’ve made. Wishing you all the best (and crisp, flavorful salads)! 🥗
