I was really skeptical about buying glasses online - my prescription has to be extremely precise. But I needed a new pair of glasses because mine were painful and I wasn’t due my next NHS voucher yet so I looked online, thinking I could always return and refund them if they didn’t work out. Found a pair on Firmoo for £9 with free lenses - and the anti glare and thinning options were so cheap too so I gave it ago - and I am SO glad I did. Excellent customer service, they’ve got a 24 hour live chat on the website and always replied within 5 minutes and could answer all my questions. I got a phone call (on a Sunday!) less than 12 hours after I placed my order to let me know that they weren’t able to do the blue light lenses I’d ordered due to my strong prism prescription- and would I like to proceed with normal lenses. Immediately refunded the difference. Then they contacted me again the next day to say I couldn’t have the anti fog coating I wanted - and again, immediately refunded the difference. The only reason I’ve given them 4/5 rather than 5/5 is because if they’d have had all that information available on the website in the first place then I wouldn’t have needed their excellent customer service as much. They took a couple of weeks to arrive but that’s normal for glasses even through an optician, and they came from China.

The glasses I ordered are very comfortable, and seem well made. The lenses were especially impressive, as my prescription is fairly complex. Great value, would happily order again.

Great company, glasses are so much cheaper and customer service is fantastic. The fact that you can upload a picture and try the glasses on ensures the style will suit you! Make sure you measure your current glasses and compare though as although they suit you online, they may be too big for your face in reality.

Don't be nervous about buying glasses online. Take a picture or scan your prescription from an optician and ask someone to help with your pupil measurement. Upload to your account and off you go. I found it much cheaper and more designs and lenses I liked with Firmoo. They contacted me to make sure my order was correct and a few days later they came delivered in secure packaging. No hassles, no pressure. Give them a try.
