I recently went to Firestone because my starter went out. After i dropped my car off, i received a call stating i would need a new starter and radiator because my radiator was leaking fluid. I told them that I have not had any radiator leaks and nothing was wrong with my radiator and to only change the starter. The guy on the phone got upset because I told him I just wanted a starter put on. When I got the call to pick up my car, I took a look under my hood before I left the parking lot. I notice that the hose from my coolant jug was ripped off. I went into the store to let them know and the guy at the front name Jack came to see it. I stated that my hose was not like this when I dropped off my car. He seemed genuinely concerned. He told me to bring the car back the next day. Once I brought the car back and dropped it off the service manager stopped me and said the mechanic took pictures saying that it was not broken when I brought it in but he didn’t know I had taken pictures and the guy Jack came outside to check my car before I left the parking lot the previous day. As Im waiting for them to call me to pick my car back up, they continued with the lie about it was already broken not knowing that I had already let another mechanic check it before going to the and he also said it wasn’t broken. I paid $1296.00 only to leave feeling defeated. I feel like this was done to me because I was a woman. Word of advice please take pictures before allowing these people to work on your cars. I should have check the reviews before I did. The location is the one on Germantown parkway in Cordova, Tn
