We were on our way home to north…
Two Sundays ago we were on our way home to north Georgia in a terrible rain storm from Harrisonburg, VA. Our “Tire puncture” light came on. We could continue on 81 because we had run flat tires, but at a very slow speed. Triple A advised us that Firestone had stores that were open on Sundays. We contacted Sam Fischer at the Airport Rd.NW store. She said she did not have any run flat tires in stock, but she would see if there were any available in any other stores in Roanoke. She advised us to come to her, and she would try to fix the tire. She also said she would call other stores to see if anyone had run flat tires in stock. When we got to her store, she fixed the tire, and she had found a set of those tires in the Blacksburg store. She gave us directions and sent us on our way. She wouldn’t even charge us for the tire repair. Without Sam’s help we would have had to stay over night somewhere and try and find a place that sells run flat tires and have them installed. She definitely saved the day! The people in the Blacksburg store were great, too. Thanks to the wonderful people at Firestone, we were able to get back on the road and home by 9:00.PM.😁 ,
