Do not like the new double ware foundation. Colour is slightly different. I was told with the new foundation you have to layer it. Good way to boost sales, by layering it you have to use twice as much foundation,by that way you run out of foundation quicker. Bring back the original DOUBLE WARE. Also I have been using double ware for over 20yrs

Dear Estée Lauder, I have been a loyal user of Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in 4N1 Shell Beige for many years, which is why I am so disappointed with my most recent purchase. The foundation I received is nothing like the product I have relied on for years. The consistency is extremely watery and thin, whereas Double Wear has always been known for its thicker texture, excellent coverage, and long-lasting finish. The new bottle provides significantly less coverage and does not perform to the standard I have come to expect from the brand. I have compared it directly with an older bottle of the same shade (photos attached), and the difference is obvious. Not only is the new foundation much thinner in consistency, but the colour also appears noticeably lighter despite both bottles being labelled 4N1 Shell Beige. The product simply does not look, feel, or apply like the Double Wear foundation I have used for years. Given the premium price point, this feels like a complete waste of money. The quality, coverage, and colour consistency are not what I paid for, and I am extremely disappointed. Double Wear has been my foundation of choice for many years because of its reliable coverage and finish, but unless this issue can be explained or resolved, I will unfortunately be looking for an alternative brand.

The new Estée Lauder foundation formula is dreadful why change something that doesn’t need to be changed! Using that foundation for 18 years. I now can’t stand this product and the new bottle leaks the customer service is also shocking sent a email to their customer service nearly a month ago and still waiting for a reply! Probably because they are getting a lot of disappointed customers. If your thinking of trying this foundation don’t it’s terrible now and doesn’t compare to the old formula

No communication about delivery of order, no updates as to why delivery still hasn’t arrived (six working days so far) and no interest from Estée Lauder. Dreadful service and recommend that nobody uses them ever! Be good if you could talk to a human in customer service but waited for over 40 mins and got cut off.

New double wear foundation is absolutely awful, not even close to the old formula. Wears off, has no staying power, not as good coverage, very sticky and not matte at all. It seems cheap and nasty, colour difference which wasn't too bad but staff on counter quite rude and adamant the colour was the same, it's very clearly not.

I took EL up on a special offer with a free gift. This gift was not included in the package although specified in the order email. No note was included to apologise. When I contacted the customer service depaartment they were not apologetic and just said it was in the T&C's that gifts could become unavailable. It would seem there is no stock control so that a customer can know at the point of order. I feel that my order was obtained under false pretences. Other customers should be aware that gift promised on orders are not always honoured.

I bought a lipstick. Put it on 2 times and it broke. For a price of 50 euro this is disappointing. I would not recommend this brand to any one of my friends.
