Terrible experience. Placed an order for make up for click and collect, never received it, phoned them and they said it was sent back to sender. They never sent me a text to say it was ready for collection. Terrible service, don't order from here!

Last order with them
Order placed on 9/3. After 20 days I contacted them as the order is still processing! They claimed UPS must have lost the package. UPS has no info on the package and on their own website it’s processing. They promised to ship the items at no charge to me. It was so odd to say because why would I be charged again for items never shipped? However, they cannot tell me when shipment would happen. No confirmation email. Before this I had contacted customer service several times. Besides giving me their name, reps never came back to the conversation. A day or so after the last contact I get an email asking, how did I enjoy the items (not received)?

Estee lauder double wear terrible now, unuseable
Oh wow i always used double wear foundation, they have changed the formula, just got a new one, it's shocking like water, absolutely terrible, will never buy again, after all these years of using it, gone through today, so so bad sticky, getting in creases, the old version 100 percent better, I really can't believe how bad it is, binned it and will have to find a replacement

Absolutely hate the new double wear…
Absolutely hate the new double wear foundation. It’s awful in so many ways - it’s sticky, thin, doesn’t last and it has made my skin break out. When visiting a make up store last week I was the third customer in 30 minutes complaining about the new formula. As a customer for over 20 years I won’t be buying Estée Lauder anymore, unless they bring back the old foundation. Please listen to your customers!!!

Double wear foundation - ruined
The new double wear foundation is horrendous. Was previously my go to foundation, but they have completely ruined it now. Horrible consistency, doesn’t last all day like it did previously, and the shade I had most recently was extremely orange.

RIP to the Original Double Wear 💔
RIP to the Original Double Wear 💔
I have been using Estée Lauder Double Wear since I was 15 years old. I am now 38!!! That is 23 years of loyalty to ONE foundation. At this point, this wasn’t makeup. It was a long term relationship 😂
And there was a reason for it.
The original Double Wear was incredible. Thick but comfortable, long lasting, transfer resistant, natural looking and completely buildable. A little product gave me light coverage, more gave me a flawless full face. It didn’t dry out my skin, crease or move. As I’ve aged, I genuinely feel it even helped protect my skin from everyday sun exposure and pollution.
Over 23 years I’ve tried Dior, Pat McGrath, Armani and plenty of other big brands. Nothing compared. I’ve emptied countless Double Wear bottles and recommended it to friends, family and colleagues, converting plenty of them along the way.
Then Estée Lauder decided to “improve” it.
I’m sorry, but the new formula feels like the Temu version of the original Double Wear. 😭
It is SO liquid now. The coverage isn’t the same. The finish isn’t the same. I need almost twice as much product for half the magic, and even then it transfers, moves on my skin and doesn’t have the staying power of the original.
And apparently I’m now supposed to apply it in multiple layers and wait for each layer to dry.
After 23 years of simply putting on my foundation beautifully, I apparently need to approach my makeup like I’m plastering a wall?! 😂
Best for: anyone who enjoys disappointment, using twice as much product and practising patience between layers.
Best uses: testing your patience and creating trust issues.
Cons: transfers, doesn’t last, doesn’t cover like the original, liquid disappointment and the Temu version of the original Double Wear.
Describe myself: former Double Wear loyalist. Foundation widow. 🪦😂
Thankfully I still have a few bottles of the original because I always stocked up. Once they’re gone, though, this 23 year relationship is over.
You broke something that didn’t need fixing.
I genuinely thought I’d be 80 years old still wearing Double Wear. I was fully prepared to be buried in it 😂 Instead, I now have to find a replacement for the foundation I’ve worn for most of my life.
Good job, Estée Lauder. You liquidified an amazing product.
Some things don’t need improving. Bring back the ORIGINAL DOUBLE WEAR.
