Sauna arrived damaged
Sauna arrived damaged, the delivery person took a pic for proof of delivery, inside the box it appeared packed well, so I had little initial concern. There was so much packing material that I cold not work around it, so I took as much of the cardboard as I could to the recycle yard. As I got further into it, the bench was cracked all along one edge as was the bench support piece and several of the main box small pieces that guide it into place were knocked loose. All this was easily repairable with wood glue, pin nails and clamps but it delayed assembly over night for the glue to dry. The Temp-probe in the ceiling of the sauna was not installed properly by the manufacturer, the metal plate labeling it was not centered over the hole in the ceiling pinching the wires and causing one of them to break off right at the probe, so there was nothing to soldier back together. I contacted Erommy and was told since I had purchased the shipping insurance to contact the i9nsurance company, which I did and they demanded a pic of all the packing material, the original shipping label on the box (which had already gone to the recycle yard) I then contacted Fed-ex to get a copy of the pic the driver took. They want the the shippers 9 digit account number, so I contacted Erommy and was told that they knew nothing about a 9 digit number. So, I once again asked Erommy to replace the broken temp probe, and have not heard back from them. So I ordered one from Walmart and it takes up to 2 weeks to be delivered. Other than that, it looks good sitting in my garage, but I am afraid to use it until I get the probe. Also the directions are horrible, I found a youtube that helped although it was for a different Sauna. Update: They did send me a replacement Temp Probe, I glued and clamped the broken wood pieces and they also sent me a $300 refund for the work I had to do to get it functional, which only took 2 hours at most. The Sauna is now working flawlessly and we are loving it. I strongly recommend getting the shipping insurance.
