Its not the company it used to be.
Company stands behind its warranty OK replaced defective inverter for free BUT they don't actually fit the replacement for that you have to get an outside contractor. Quoted price to remove defective inverter and fit the free replacement was $1,800!!! So to get ONE non producing panel back on line would cost more than FIFTEEN YEARS of production for the panel.
Response from Enphase EnergyMay 9, 2025
We understand your concern regarding the $1800 replacement cost, which is not typical for a microinverter replacement. As the manufacturer of your Enphase energy system and its components, we want to assure you that our warranty covers our products. Additionally, for replacements within the first two years, we offer labor reimbursement to the installer. To help you directly, we've created a dedicated case for you (#18022875).
