I love the tacos al carbon and order it almost every time I go to Pollo Loco. I especially love the spicy avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo, they give the tacos a fresh and spicy boost. However, make sure you taste both the avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo BEFORE you add it to your tacos or other meals!!!! On several occasions, both have gone bad and taste awful!!! Today my brother bought me the tacos al carbon and both the condiments had gone bad. If I had added them to my tacos before tasting them, it would have ruined my tacos. So, check first and save your meal!!! This happened at the Montebello, CA restaurant on Beverly Blvd. & Montebello Blvd.

Over 60 yrs in Santa Maria and 1st time visit, check your order, make sure you getting what ordered. Not even considering returning ever again. Don’t appreciate business profiting monetarily and being shorted on order contents!

I placed a large order for a friend's birthday and her clinic mates through the Uber app. I needed to add additional food and was unable through the app. I called the El Pollo, located at Hwy 111 and Dunton Way Store 67740 Cathedral City, and spoke with Clint. What a professional person and so very helpful. I was able to add the additional item through his generosity and the utensils that I had forgotten to order. Kindness,professionalism and basic generosity is appreciated. Great store! The company should be proud of such repesentation. Thanks for making my friend's bday lunch a success.

I last ate at El Pollo Loco years ago, and thought I would try it again. Bad idea! No longer a good deal, as the chicken pieces looked like they came from bantam chickens...really small. Pico was watery and not fresh, portions of rice and beans stingy for the price you pay. Will NOT eat at this eatery again. Huge disappointment.

I have tried to oder with the app 2 times and failed to get the order completed. I could find where to view the FULL MENU. If I can't find the item I can't order the food. This is the dumbest app I have ever seen. I couldn't even see where the RBC burrito were to order them. You think the RBC burritos would be in the section they are calling burritos. Not there or anywhere else in this stupid app. I am never going to use El Pollo Loco app or even go to the store because I have waisted too much time trying order and writting this review. Go job El Pollo Loco.

We went to Manhattan beach and the food went straight in the trash. Dry and burnt, I'm pretty sure must have been left overs. The worst food I have ever bought. How this place can sell food like that and stay open is beyond me.

Went to eat at Pollo Loco Rainbow location and only drive thru was open. I will never bother to eat there again.

Visited the location on Schaefer and Euclid, City of Chino. I thought this location was getting better then when they first opened, but it is not good. Ordered the Avocado Chicken Burrito. Where was the Chicken? The few pieces I had were dry and hard with a few beans, mostly cabbage. The wet sause what ever that is made the tortilla soggy. I'm done with this place. No receipt for my $9+ burrito
