We looked forward to El Pollo Loco returning to El Paso Tx. and seeing them open again on G. Dieter Dr. We decided to get a chicken order for dinner today. Previous experiences were POSITIVE except for the notable smaller size of the chicken pieces when comparing to other chicken we've had from other Businesses. Today's experience makes us wonder if we will return. The Customer service was excellent; our order was taken by the counter person in a timely manner and the wait for the order was reasonable considering how busy the Restaurant was. It was a take home order. Once home, we started eating and noted again the smaller chicken pieces: leg and thighs...we've seen this before. Our biggest disappointment was how dry the meat was; it left us with the impression it was likely chicken from a batch grilled earlier in the day, rather than a fresh batch of grilled chicken; but I cannot attest to that. Today's experience did not leave a good impression and I hope this is not common or the norm.

La comida estuvo buena el precio tal vez igual bueno el servicio al cliente pésimo la cajera despota y nada amable pésimo servicio no fue amable ni tuvo paciencia conmigo y me toco ver cómo atendió dos clientes mal recomiendo el pollo loco pero no en petaluma

Great food, if you can get it. I've been there twice this year, and both times after waiting 10 minutes without getting to order, I left and went somewhere else.

Food I hate is the sales

I like the individual 2, 3 & 4 piece meals. What I don't understand is why a drink is not included with the meal. Everybody else, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, etc. includes a drink with their combo meals. Why not El Pollo Loco ?

I love the tacos al carbon and order it almost every time I go to Pollo Loco. I especially love the spicy avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo, they give the tacos a fresh and spicy boost. However, make sure you taste both the avocado salsa and Pico de Gallo BEFORE you add it to your tacos or other meals!!!! On several occasions, both have gone bad and taste awful!!! Today my brother bought me the tacos al carbon and both the condiments had gone bad. If I had added them to my tacos before tasting them, it would have ruined my tacos. So, check first and save your meal!!! This happened at the Montebello, CA restaurant on Beverly Blvd. & Montebello Blvd.

Yesterday I went to El Pollo Loco by Vermont across LACC, I'd been coming to this location regularly as it is closer to my place and enjoy the foods. Unfortunately, the thigh piece if chicken served was bad like off. I told the worker in the counter that I cannot exchange it as I already touched it. The manager said the same thing. I was rudely dealt with when all I want is to have the thigh replace with fresher chicken. If course you cannot est something that is spoiled. Though they exchanged it but mind you, the workers were all insisting that it was fresh and good chicken. They were so bad that that I should call the health department to straighten them out.
