Bought a ego weed wacker in June of 2020. I used it a year, then one of the neighborhood kids started mowing. He had his own set up. It sat in my garage for 2 years in a climate controlled garage and not on the charger or the weed wacker. I recently moved and now it will not hold a charge. 3 months out of there crappy 3 yr warranty. On a product this expensive, I would have expected better quality! I guess I was wrong! I will never go back to them. Time to pull out the little old 2 cycle I’ve had for 20 yrs. It still works!

Spent over $300 on a 765 ego blower and it only lasted a few months. The company would not back their warranty because I bought it on Amazon. Extremely disappointed with this product and with the company’s customer service

After one season my batteries started to malfunction. I have called in 3 times and they will not replace my batteries instead they keep walking you through a RESET procedure for batteries and charger UNTIL WARRANTY RUNS OUT. That works for about 6 months and then again and again. NOW THE WARRANTY IS PAST AND I AM SCREWED. THIS IS GOING TO COST ME ABOUT $1000.00 FOR NEW BATTERIES. I AM BUYING A GAS POWERED LAWNMOWER, A GAS POWERED WEEDEATER AND GAS POWERED BLOWER. Sick of the 2 hrs downtime between charging batteries(I have 3 chargers) just to do a 1/5 acre lot with 3 bedroom house and garage. This equipment also raised my electric bills an added $35.00 a month charging batteries. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I SPENT $1800.00 and because of bad batteries, the equipment is useless. Do Not Make The Same Mistake I MADE!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Constant gaslighting trying to convince me my battery won’t charge is a result of weather or my outlet. Apparently attempting successfully to drag it out past the warranty date. So they have now switched to “sorry it is out of warranty”. Mower has a loose handle causing the mower to shut down because it triggers a safety switch. Numerous calls with no help, no part, and constantly on hold.

I sat and listened to that irritating music and comment about how they are working to expedite my call for 34 minutes. I finally caved in and did the call back knowing I will not receive a call back. So much for Customer Service. USELESS as you know what!!!

I agree with everyone's opinion on customer service, I'm so sorry for your troubles but there is nothing we can do...gets old fast. I own...lawn mower...8 years...no issues. Battery still works, although weaker. Chainsaw...OK but battery died at end of warranty Leaf blower...OK but battery and charger died at end of warranty. Weed trimmer....OK, battery died before warranty but did not want to deal with service beyond 2nd attempt. Snow blowe...2019....comes with 2 batteries. One was dead on arrival....got it replaced. The replacement died before 2nd winter. Replaced. But the 2nd battery just died out side of warranty and I got the sorry, nothing we can do crap. So I spent 1k on blower, and if I wish to use it I need to put anther 300$ into it. I barely use the blower as is, and the 2 batteries barely got any use before dying. Bottom line is I liked the product at the start. But have had too many problems with little support and a a slap in the face after spending what I have spent. That ended today. They don't deserve anymore of my money. Very disappointed in this company. I would have been OK with just a replacement battery.. their cost on it could have generated future spending from me. If I'm going to get cheap results, I'd rather buy the cheaper products. Sane results but I can keep some cash in my pocket.

TERRIBLE customer service. Tried calling three times. On hold for over an hour each time and no one picked up. Left number to call back twice and no one did. No email to write to either. Can't get warranty service unless I call first but then that's the problem! My $650 lawn mower sits in my garage now and I can't use it. I won't buy anything from EGO ever again.
