As so many have said, nonexistent customer service. Even their automated call waiting message sounds irritated. They call back days later at random times. No, I don’t want an unscheduled callback at 3:15 on a Sunday (days after I opted for a callback because the irritated bot repeatedly suggested opting for it). No, I can’t watch my phone 24/7/365. I’m now deeply skeptical of buying electric again.

I have called “customer service” 3 times in the last week. I am on perpetual hold, register for call back and I finally get one about 5 days later, while I’m at work. My battery won’t charge. I open the conversation saying that I don’t have the battery with me because of the length of time it took for someone to call me back. My battery is registered, she can’t find it. Then, she finds it and asks if I have my battery. No, I don’t!! Then she proceeds to tell me they have to trouble shoot the battery over the phone to see if it lights up???? WHAT!?! How do you know if it does over the phone!?! Normally, legitimate companies offer true warranty service. If you want me to take it back to Lowe’s and have them verify it and then replace my battery, fine, I will do that. But my belief is that they don’t stand behind their product. Now I have to call back, when I am home and have the battery just so they don’t answer the call!?! Do you see the circular conversation of resolution here? I am dumbfounded!

This company has the worst customer service you can imagine. My mower was not working right ouf of the box. After reaching them they offered me to exchange it with an older model (sic). Its been two month, they haven't shipped the replacement unit. Their so called supervisor never calls back. Ego managers should be ashamed of their way of conducting business. Stay away from their product

Rate is zero! “Your call is very important to us and we are doing everything we can to expedite your call” is NONSENSE, there is no intention of calling back! I’ve now called for 3 DAYS trying to contact this company for battery warranty claim. My next call is to my state consumer affairs bureau. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS.

Battery and charger, 700 dollar backpack blower didn't last a year with out failing and repair parts aren't available,( crappy electronic circuits and parts

EGO sent me to Lowe’s to repair my $800 mower. Believe it or not, Lowes does not do repairs! I am the first to show up with my EGO mower with a referral for a repair. After standing at customer service for approximately 45 minutes they decided it would be best to make an exchange. Customer Service thought they had to reimburse me since the computer was not allowing them to make an exchange. However, they were able to make the exchange work. Customer Service asked me to bring in the battery and charger that belonged to the mower I left with them. So of course, when I made it home I put the brand new battery in the brand new charger and walked away for a few hours. When I checked on the charging process, the red light was blinking and the battery was blinking red on the 25% bar. Next, I put the new battery on the old charger (that works perfectly) and the charger showed the same blinking red light. The new charger is not defective, the new battery is. Three days with no answer or call back from EGO. Save your money and buy from another manufacturer!

The only thing that made it great after more than a month of being on hold, being asked for the same information over and over, not returning calls, being on hold for 45 minutes and then disconnected etc was Becky in customer service Today. I explained to her that the battery in both my grass trimmer and Hedge trimmer had gone bad at The same time, one from 2022 and the other from 2023. I am a healthy 73 year old retired executive who uses the lawn trimmer every week and the hedge trimmer only twice so far. I alternate the batteries in the lawn trimmer so both batteries get used. When I finally got to customer service they agreed to send 2 new batteries . When received they were both “green” until I put them on the grass trimmer and each one turned red then red/green. Bad they said so they sent another battery and when received it had 3 green lights so I slid it on to the machine and it sparked and smoked so I pulled it off. Dead of course. When I finally got ahold Of them again I Got Becky!!!👍. She listened carefully and reviewed everything that had transpired over the last Month. She even saw where other CS people had made “mistakes”. I suggested to her that it is Not the battery that is faulty, there is a short in the machine. No one else listened. So what happened! She is sending me 2 batteries AND she gave me a warranty service request form to take to Lowe’s or Northern Tool and even found the addresses for me. I knew Lowe’s does not repair at the stores so I took the trimmer to Northern today and it will be fixed, in fact they know what was wrong. So, why this long review? I worked in executive management in three large corporations Including a 20 year stint at Stanley Tools, always managing manufacturing operations. Customer Service was and is the backbone of success. Becky deserves recognition from EGO and I certainly hope she gets rewarded for finally a job well done. I hope I hear back on that. Thanks

Poor customer service. $350 leaf blower stopped working after 16 months. Long wait times on hold for customer service, requested return calls that never come, and finally got ahold of a rep who authorized a warranty review by a technician. Took it to Lowe's as directed, and they do not have any technicians at Lowe's within 150 miles. Requested another callback, but we have already spent hours on this. Many customer service reps are also very difficult to understand. Update: After a few more phone calls, they say that since there are no authorized repair locations in our area (which is a decent sized city) that they are going to send us a new one! Happy with the outcome, but it took a long time to get resolved.
