Our EGO string trimmer quit less than 2 months out of warranty. No help, no exceptions, out of warranty is our of warranty.

Have an LB 6700 leaf blower. Stopped working. Contacted customer support, took into service centre was told it was the switch, after six weeks,still not fixed. Service Center says Ego won’t get back to them. I called customer support got bounced around handed off to other people now we’re two months in and being ghosted by a supervisor that was supposed to call me back. Have left multiple messages for the supervisor and nothing. Five year warranty means nothing if they won’t honour it . Stay away from products.

I own 6 EGO tools. I have one that has not worked correctly since I bought it. I've taken it into Ace hardware and they said it's just a bad product. A string trimmer that will not advance string without using pliers. After working with customer service, I've decided I will never buy another ego tool. They don't care, they don't help, they offer no solutions except spend more money. And will never buy another EGO tool. It's too bad they treat their customers like this

I got a 670 blower for my birthday that had the combo with the battery and the charger and it didn’t work out of the box. I contacted Customer Service and they told me since I got it as a gift and didn’t buy it directly that I had to take it to a independent service center and pay for it which is most likely gonna be more than the stupid thing is worth. They have horrible customer service with people that hardly even speak English, and their products are garbage and they know it. That’s why you can’t leave reviews on their official website and you can’t get Customer Service to even replace a brand new never been used product… EGO is HORRIBLE Do not buy their products because they do not warranty them.

The devices are pretty solid, but sometimes they break. The problem is that when they break, they ask you to drive to the nearest service center, which for me is 30 minutes away, wait there or leave the item, drive back, etc. Hours of time, to service a $100-200 item, *maybe*. Horrible customer service in my opinion.

I purchased a new EGO Edger trimmer package in May 2026. Had issues making attachments connect to powerhead. Called customer service and was given service order to take to local repair shop for repair on 12/5/26. Repair shop informed me it needed a new powerhead. It is now 9/26/26 and repair part as yet to ship. EGO mass produces this part and its ridiculous its taking this long. Never will I purchase another EGO product. Warranty service stinks!

Warranty of batteries is worthless. 6.0 AH battery two years old only, now , power lawn mower for 10 minutes. Originally over 60 minutes. Customer service had me test the battery with leaf blower and told me battery was fine and nothing they could do for me. Expensive batteries, under normal use, will last a couple of years. They make you believe you will have use for 5+ years.

I will never buy another EGO product. That is after I have purchase two lawn mowers, trimmers and blowers. First I have had to replace the trimmer twice. This second time, I only filled the thread 2 times. The third time it would not work. The automatic feed would not take the line. Now I am 78 years old and do my own lawn. I don't go slamming the product around. I am slow and careful. Today they called me again to say, sorry you have to buy a new part to the tune of almost $50.00. The warranty is out after 90 days. In 90 days I have only used the two threads. Also to add insult, Ego sells batteries that are two years old and then only give you a warranty for half that time as the batteries are already two years old when you get them. No, you cannot check battery dates as they are closed in the box, and who would think to check this anyway. Don't waste your money and time, Ego will not support you!
