So far, so good. Its a little early to tell as I only started using it a couple of days ago, and I only suspect I have ADHD not had a diagnosis yet. However, it is interesting to keep a record of your moods and will keep going with it and let you know how it's going, further down the path!

DO NOT GIVE A CENT TO THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY
I'm so upset about my experience with this app. I realised 30 seconds after purchasing a year-long subscription that this would not help me with my ADHD. I wrote to the company immediately to request a refund, which they denied. I have tried asking them for a pro-rated refund (although I have not used the app AT ALL) and they denied that as well because they "delivered everything that was promised". There was no personalised plan, it's a terrible interface and I got a 36 page text-heavy PDF that I'm supposed to follow to set up the app to work for someone with ADHD, as a person with ADHD, wth!!??
This company is so shady and should be shut down.

Awful
Awful. What is this app actually useful for? And it's ridiculously expensive, and incredibly hard to cancel. They have just taken another £27 off me. Furious!

Beware of this scam
Beware of this scam! Not personalised, merely a habit tracker. Once signed up for a plan and purchased they keep offering more add-ons. No payment receipt is being sent. No way to cancel in the app, no way to request a refund. Customer service extremely slow to respond and so far not heard back regarding refund request. Very questionable business practices.

my hopes were disappointed
I expected to find more detailed information about ADHD, but it seemed to me that the program is just a tracking of habits. I found an advertisement on Instagram for a woman who organizes her life after she was disorganized through this program, so that motivated me to participate, but unfortunately my hopes were disappointed

Massive scam
HEAVILY advertised on social media as an app to help manage ADHD (complete with personalised plan), Effecto is a scam. Despite making you do a quiz ahead of buying, the plan is not personalised - it's a generic PDF of closely written text (just great for people with ADHD) and the app has nothing set up to manage ADHD. It's just a general health tracker. Realised within 30 seconds this wasn't going to help and immediately asked for a refund. Took two weeks of slow responses from them to say no to that. Have gone through paypal now, so fingers crossed. I wish I'd seen all the comments here first.
UPDATE: Paypal refunded me, so if you went through them, use their resolution service! I took screenshots of the ads, the landing page for the 'ADHD app', and of Effectos responses to my emails and sent those as evidence.

Unethical advertising and company
BEWARE!
Unethical, dangerous, and probably false health claims!
In Germany, this would be forbidden by law and/or subject to fraudulent advertising claims.
Do not buy this app, dear peeps with AD(H)D, OCB or other mental health issues.
As a newly trained therapist and patient (for over 15 years), I can only tell anybody wishing to improve:
Don’t let yourself get fooled by the pseudo-scientific offer.
A company who puts a 15 minute counter on a (allegedly) good offer (0.16$/day), and doesn’t offer any kind of (even partial) refund does NOT have any interest your mental health.
Glad I checked the reviews before pressing the button.
Was only able to do that because of good therapy and my own professional job training, by the way.
Most people really struggling with a (diagnosed!) mental health issue won’t be able to resist this kind of psychologically designed and specifically targeting advertisement.
Any board of psychologists/psychiatrists in Germany would call out this app and its company as a scam.
Do NOT engage (until fundamental changes have been made – which the company, due to its nature, won’t do)!!!
Written as a private person with (formerly) mental health issues.
Once more:
– Waste of money
– Probably fraudulent (and possibly persecutable) behaviour
– unethical claims
– no refunds at all!
– possibly dangerous (no effect, loss of money, more self-doubt after inefficient use / goals not achieved)
This app should be taken down from any App Store.
Best wishes to all who had an experience with this company,
Chris
