1 Star – Deceptive Bait-and-Switch, Total Waste of Time On May 2, 2026, I drove three hours from Charlotte to this Cary dealership after locking in an online OTD price of $25,730 with a $500 deposit. They immediately tried adding over $7,000 in unwanted fees. Only after I threatened to leave did they drop them — then tried sneaking in another $700. They finally agreed to the original price. I used my approved Bank of America financing, paid a $17,750 down payment, and signed all paperwork. After five hours, just as the car was being brought out, finance claimed “discrepancies” and a fraud alert. They demanded my Social Security Card and refused my valid REAL-ID NC license, even though they knew I drove from Charlotte. After six hours at the dealership plus three hours driving, I had to demand my cashier’s check back. No apology, no accountability. The message was clear: refuse our extra fees and we’ll kick you out. This was a straight-up bait-and-switch. Horrible experience. Do not buy here.

If I could give them a negative number I would. Scam. No sales people means unqualified individuals that have no idea what they are doing. Can’t use your own bank to finance… scam. “Fully Protected” Means scam coverage. $700 in a protection plan for 5 years of car washes and detailing… Don’t go.. 3 hours wasted.

Echo Park is a total scam. They bait you with low internet sales prices, spend hours trying to up-sale you on warranties, and high interest rate financing, then tell you buy the car thru their website where you can't opt-out of the $699 valueless "paint and upholstery protection package". Then they only will finance thru their partners which turns a low price into a bad deal. Go elsewhere!

Roseville location was huge! Pricing was great! It was easy, no hassle or haggling the car was in near perfect condition and no pushy salesmen! Kameron was awesome and so friendly. It took longer than we thought but they were really busy.

I purchased an as is car there for $7000. In less than a week the car started to stall. They refused to help or perform any repairs when I reported the issue as they said the car was purchased as is. They are dishonest and not reputable.

I visited EchoPark Automotive in Roseville on April 6 after finding a specific Tesla I was interested in. Unfortunately, my experience raised some serious concerns. After sitting down with a sales representative, I was told that the original 4-year/50,000-mile warranty had expired—which made sense since the car had 50,600 miles. However, the salesperson also claimed that the remaining battery warranty (7 years / 120,000 miles) was no longer valid because I would be the second owner. That immediately raised a red flag. I’ve owned multiple vehicles and have never encountered a manufacturer warranty that doesn’t transfer with the vehicle. I asked if anyone else had walked away over this, and he said yes—someone had done so the same day. That didn’t sit right with me, so I went home and did my own research. As it turns out, the salesperson was completely incorrect—the Tesla battery warranty follows the VIN, not the owner. I returned the next day and spoke with a manager, who acknowledged the mistake and said they would address it with the employee. I then proceeded to re-evaluate the vehicle I had test-driven. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the tires were in poor condition. The manager stated they were at 4/32 tread (technically legal), but the rear tires were clearly worn down to the point of being nearly bald in the center. Given that Teslas typically need new tires around this mileage—and this one was already at 50,600 miles—it was obvious the car would require immediate replacement tires. For a vehicle priced around $30,000, it’s unreasonable to expect a buyer to immediately spend an additional $1,500–$2,000 on tires, especially when the dealership advertises pricing below blue book value—which this vehicle was not. While everyone I interacted with was polite and professional on a personal level, the lack of accurate product knowledge and the condition of the vehicle were disappointing. I would not recommend this dealership based on my experience.

Horrible company with shady used car add on price garbage. They have sales people who are literally like something out of a 1970's used car movie. They play the used car math game with lots of hidden junk that doubles the price of the car.

Don't fall for this bait and switch BS place! I went in and test drove a vehicle and told the man I wanted to purchase it. I informed him that I would be paying cash for it, and I needed to go grab a cashier's check. He said he would be back with a price sheet. After about 30 minutes he returns with a price that was more than SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS higher than the listed price. The tax was added on, which is fine, but then there was a $700 dent protection, another $700 charge that he said was not removable, and an almost $4,000 warranty. I told him I didn't want any of that. He walked back to a desk to talk to another guy, came back and told me that they could remove the dent protection and the other $700 thing that he said was not removable, but they would not sell me the car unless I bought the warranty. A total waste of time! This was a 2024 Chevy Trax for $20,497. I just looked up a brand new 2026, the same color, and higher package model, and it was $25,000... $2,000 less than they were trying to scam me for!
