The manual start choice may not be the right one. But, other than a heavy pull to start, this pro 401 is great. Green or dead, chip or shred, it keeps eating everything.

I recently purchased a walk behind trimmer mower, that had a few minor problems. I contacted the service department regarding the mower. They were very helpful regarding my request, I decided to return in lieu of having the mower repaired. I upgraded to a more powerful mower. DR had the problem mower picked up and the new one delivered. It works great! Thank you service department for all your help!

It was easy to order the equip I need. Now if that works as well as the ordering process I will be a very Happy Camper. I will let you know.

I had a fellow contractor tell me about your equipment but this has been a very bad experience. First thing the more was shipped with one wheel inflated and the other wheel deflated with the air stem facing outward and on the other wheel it is facing toward the engine. What work made this experience worse, the tire had a puncture and it was deflated. If it was just an air issue that would’ve been OK but when I called and spoke with a Bryan, he was very rude and told me That he was doing me a favor by ordering me another tire. I stayed on the phone for over an hour cause I asked for a return and then they told me I would be responsible for shipping cost cost of $300 to return the mower. I called back and talk with Deb who was very courteous and assisted me and getting a replacement tire expeditiously, at that time I told her I would keep the mower. After finally putting oil and gas in the mower it started up fine but then when I push the lever to operate the transmission it is not functioning. I hate that I purchase this mower and it has been nothing but a headache from day one! Kalor Williams Sr

$218.00 is an absolutely stupid price to pay for a gas tank!

I ordered a DR Trimmer/Mower PRO 7.25 FPT Electric Start on July 1. Since July 1, I have received 5 updates on expected ship dates: July 11, July 15, July 18, August 1, and now August 5. Excuses include supply chain, parts availability, transportation delays from factory to shipper. A request to escalate this in order to receive a realistic ship date was refused. IOW, management knows nothing more than the information available to customer service. My latest request, on August 5, was for a callback to confirm that the item will be shipped before the end of August. I have no confidence that I will receive that information. I have not cancelled my order, and I remain hopeful that it will ship relatively soon, but this experience does not instill confidence in this company.

Ordered a tow behind leaf/lawn vacuum (PRO 321) 12 weeks ago, shipping date keeps getting pushed out a week here and there. They should not take your order if the equipment is not available, inform of back order, be honest about realistic shipping dates. I will never order from DR again!

I bought a pull behind mower that burned the clutch up the first season I used it, 3-5 mows of our couple acres of sparse annual grass. This was replaced under warranty. It burned up a second clutch the second season after a couple mows which I had to pay for parts and labor. They said I was driving too fast, my speedometer is between 1-3 mph. They said it was going through “difficult” grass. It was less then 12” with no brush. It has. Is burned up a third clutch in three years. Now they think it was delivered with a bad voltage regulator causing 3 clutches to burn up two at my cost to replace. Can’t wait to get rid of it. Don’t believe the videos of people mowing tundra!
