Doctor on Demand is an absolute joke! My wife scheduled an appointment for counseling and needed to change the time due to a conflicting meeting, but when doing so was charged $99 dollars because appointments have to be canceled to be changed on their website. This is a scam and they know it. We didn’t end up even receiving care from them and were informed by their team that nothing would be done about it. I don’t see how a company dedicated to helping others (some who are in need of counsel) could have such a policy taking $99 dollars from someone for a simple mistake. It would seem that their support team could adjust the appointment and refund the charge given the situation. I have reported them to the BBB and would not recommend this circus to a dying friend.. I hope their business dries up and I will see to it that I get my money back from these clowns.

Saw my Dr. through DOD for a year. Needed a med refill, I only met with her every 6 months or so. When my time was approaching to meet with her for our check-in, her calendar was booked out for a month. I took the first available appointment and sent a message to request a bridge refill to get me through to our appointment. I was told no by DOD. I was told that I would need to see a different Dr. (what?! um, no.) to get a bridge refill. I explained that I went online to book my appointment and there wasn't anything available for a month, which isn't my fault, and asked them to send a message to my Dr. for a bridge refill. They again refused. Dr. was wonderful, DOD is the worst, they are willing to put people's lives at risk rather than do the ethical thing and figure out a workable solution for patients. Needless to say, I will never use them again, and do not recommend this lousy, impersonal and unprofessional service.

Horrible does not even encompass this. They flat out refused medical care for something that was blatantly obvious to diagnose and treat and refused a refund for their negligence. Run far away from this scam.

I don't typically write reviews, but my experience was so bad that I hope that no one ever has the experience I had. I was clear about what my medical issue. I uploaded an image of what I wanted help with and when the doctor came on he told me that he could not diagnose my problem and that it might be cancer. This is so different than the experience I was hoping for and it does not seem right that a service does this. Will never use again.

I had a UTI and was prescribed an antibiotic. Unfortunately my regular pharmacy was closed on the weekend. I called to have the prescription sent to a pharmacy. DOD said it would be put in the cue and I would receive a msg when it was sent. The local pharmacy closed two hours later and they never received the order. I texted three times. Then called in the morning. Again hours-over 3- passed. I called again and when I asked for someone to help me I was told there was no one. After further questions I was abruptly placed on hold for 10 minutes then told a supervisor would contact me. Again no idea when they will contact me. When trying to clarify with the agent she abruptly ended the call. So almost 20 hours after diagnosis I’ve no prescription. Thanks for a sleepless night of pain and having to take massive amounts of Tylenol.

Doctor on demand customer service experience is condescending. You may as well talk to yourself or scream into a pillow it would be more supportive and accomplish more. My advice, drive to the doctor.

Website video link doesn't work, they take you money give me 2.5 minutes when they call after, and still haven't received my prescription for bad tonsillitis at 8:30pm on a friday night three hours after the rushed consult. So will have to probably go through the weekend with panful acorns in throat or pay for out of hours doctor if I can get one at double the rate. In effect paying for three doctors consults for one prescription Complete lack of service and care for patients, after hours doctors rubbish as no one to call to take my calls regarding where my prescription is. I still remember the days not so long ago that the prescription was completed during your consult. Why after having being given only 2.5minutes for my consult my prescription was not completed just shows that money and not patient care is important to these guys I strongly recommend you not use this company

The fact that there are no exceptions for emergencies when getting charged for having to cancel appointments last minute makes this service a total scam. Being charged over a $130 for an appointment I had to cancel due to a personal emergency is honestly adding insult to injury and only reinforces that the “healthcare” profession is now about neither health nor care. It’s only about the money. On top of that, doctors from this service regularly cancel appointments last minute with no reason and also often refuse to help and instead refer you to in person urgent care but they sure do keep your copay or appointment fee. There’s no excuse for either behavior if we as the patients aren’t allowed some leeway when we have things come up. Please don’t use this service if you have any other option. Even risking Covid to go to a clinic is better than dealing with being treated like you’re nothing.
