HORRIBLE LACK OF SERVICE AND UNFAIR PROCESS IN PLACE WHEN YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED
Do not use them unless you are ok with paying upfront for service which you may or may not get!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE and an EVEN WORSE process for which to go through when unhappy with service (or lack of) received. This place...let me tell you. I scheduled an appt and pay $75.00 upfront. It would be a seemingly simple appt - I had a skin infection which I was requesting antibiotics for. Met with Dr - told her I have an infection and needing antibiotics. Reason I am using DOD is due to the lack of time during my hectic schedule at the time to go during the day to my normal doctor. Nonetheless, she looks at another monitor for about 10 minnutes, asks for a couple pictures of it and says she is sorry that she can't prescribe anything that she thinks I should go to the ER.; I told her can you please order antibiotics for me until I can make it to the ER, and she said NO. We ended the visit. Next day I was forced to take time away from my prior engagements to go to my local physical doctor. For which I was forced to pay a copay of $125.00. Then my physical doctor looked at it, and wrote me my prescription along with some advice on what to do if things dont turn around and she sent me home. So now I am out $200.00. Then....months later when I go to pick up a prescription refill at one of the pharmacies I use, I found out that there was an antibiotic called in from the DOD doctor!!!!! But, it is too late for me to pick the script up due to me not having any knowledge that I had a prescription waiting for me. In other words, how was I supposed to know???? I would have LOVED to know she had called me in a prescription as that was the one and only reason for my visit!!! I contact the "support"...about it and request a refund. Mind you, is ONE employee who decides if you can receive a refund or not, and then that decision is final. There are no appeals, or climbing the ladder to speak to someone in charge, it is concrete what that one employee decides. Also, the only time you get to speak to anyone about it via online is when you submit the request for refund. No one gets back to you and goes over the issue, they simply respond, deny and end of story. Everything is final. Apparently 'advice was given and prescription given" so they cannot refund. Which no advice was given except that I should go to the ER. And the Doctor told me she was not ordering me any prescriptions, she made that clear and I made my dissatisfaction clear when I immediately sent a complaint to DOD for the lack of care received. I asked for a refund, and they denied it, in a message also telling me all denials are final. This was all completely unacceptable. Me being led to believe there is not any medication for me being ordered because that is what the doctor told me, and then the process for which to ask for a refund was unacceptable too. If all denials are final. they should at least give the customer the opportunity to respond and engage in the conversation before denying.
